This is great news! One of the issues as of late is the ability to calibrate critical safety systems after aftermarket vehicle modification. Vehicle lifting or lowering can drastically change how these systems operate so this bill is huge step in the right direction👌

A U.S. House Energy & Commerce Subcommittee has officially passed the SEMA‑backed ADAS Functionality & Integrity Act (H.R. 6688)—a major step toward protecting enthusiasts’ and businesses’ ability to safely modify modern vehicles equipped with advanced safety tech. The bipartisan bill ensures aftermarket companies get the info and guidelines needed to properly calibrate ADAS after modifications like lift kits, wraps, bumpers, and more.
