🌿 Buddy’s Big Adventure (and the Case of the Too-Much-Grass Snack!) 🌿
Meet Buddy! This adventurous guy was out on a hike having the best day ever when he decided to enjoy a little too much of nature… literally. 😅 After snacking on some grass, Buddy started showing signs of stomach pain and vomiting, and his mom knew something wasn’t right.
Thankfully, Dr. Nelson and our incredible Internal Medicine team acted fast! After performing a stomach endoscopy, they were able to identify a blockage and safely remove the excess grass from Buddy's stomach. Buddy’s feeling much better now and is back to his happy, tail-wagging self (maybe just avoiding the salad bar from now on!) 🐾💚
✨ Signs of a Possible Stomach or Intestinal Blockage in Pets:
🚫 Vomiting or dry heaving
🍽️ Loss of appetite
💩 Straining to p**p or changes in bowel movements
😴 Lethargy or acting unusually tired
🐶 Abdominal pain or bloating
If you ever notice these signs, it’s important to seek veterinary care right away. Blockages can become life-threatening if not treated quickly but with fast action like Buddy’s mom took, your pet can be back on their paws in no time!
Let’s give Buddy a big round of applause for being such a brave boy during his scope procedure! 👏❤️
