Hello again!

We have all of our new equipment set up and will begin to port our same phone number to the new phone system! This will occur 4/1/26 at 11:30am and could go until about 1:30pm. It may take less time or more time depending on how the transfer goes between companies. Our phone system will likely be down for this period of time. We apologize for any inconvenience! But we will have an improved system to better service you for the future!

We just wanted to let you all know that we’re getting a new phone/internet system installed today, so we may have periods of time where we will be unable to answer calls. The technician will do his best to keep downtime to a minimum.

As many of you may know, we have partnered with NimbleRx to give a better avenue of refilling prescriptions, checking out and communicating with our staff. And with all new partnerships there are usually a few quirks that need to be worked out, the most common issue we are having is that when a text is sent out to a customer that says their prescription is ready, it actually means we have received it and are currently processing it. It may be up to an hour or two before it is actually filled and ready for pick up, especially on busy days. Unfortunately there is no way to reword the text at this time and we are currently in contact with Nimble on how to fix this issue. We apologize for any inconvenience.

After sixteen incredible years, the time has come to say a happy (but bittersweet!) farewell to our amazing pharmacy technician, Carolyn Berg, who is moving out of town to be closer with her family!

Your dedication, hard work, and expertise have been the backbone of our pharmacy. You showed incredible care for our patients and solved countless problems and always did it with a witty comment and smile. We are so grateful for the countless lives you’ve touched and the immense knowledge you’ve shared with all of us.

You will be greatly missed! Wishing you nothing but happiness and relaxation in this next chapter. Cheers to you!

ATTENTION!!! A Glenwood City customer brought this letter in that they received from their Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM). They are the companies that contract with your insurance company to process claims for us. This letter is prime example of Patient Steering. It’s what they do when they want to send you to their own pharmacies. While we may not be “preferred” in their network, we are still IN their network. If you get one of these letters, let your pharmacist know and they will talk to you about how we can help lower your drug costs through our Village Pharmacy Loyalty Plan.
