Augma Biomaterials Augma Biomaterials Ltd. is a dynamic, innovative company, that developed the first dental bone graft cement for bone augmentation in maxillofacial surgery.

The activity of the company is based on two main aspects:
* Development of novel augmentative products that are based
on many years of personal experience and consider the challenges, which clinicians in the dental field face.

* Service and broad support for clinicians to ensure better, faster and readily achievable results for the dental surgeons. The idea of forming the company was born from the need of the developer, Dr.Yahav Amos, D.M.D, to find a bone graft substitute that could serve clinicians in a wider spectrum of indications, based on motivation to find the ultimate one.

The patient presents with less than 2mm of sub-sinus bone height and missing tooth #16 (3). The procedure takes place in 2-stages. Stage 1 is a closed sinus lift with Augma Lift™ and Bond Apatite®. 4 months later the second stage includes sinus lift with immediate implant placement.

We had a very comprehensive program over this weekend in Athens.

On the first day participants learned the basic concepts of bone graft cement and had hands-on sessions around socket, lateral and aesthetic zone.
On the second day our focus was on sinus lift with the out of the box Augma Lift technique from site preparation to implant placement.
