❤️ Sacred 7 Challenge: Show Compassion ❤️

Compassion is at the heart of everything we do — in the moments we listen, the words we choose, and the care we show each other every day. Sometimes, a few kind words can make the biggest difference.

💌 This week’s challenge: Write an encouraging note or message for a resident, coworker, or family member. A simple act of kindness can turn someone’s entire day around.

💬 Tell us below: Who showed you compassion when you needed it most?

🎉 Celebrating 25 Years at Signature HealthCARE! 🎉

Today we’re proud to celebrate Sheri Games Newsome’s 25-year Sigiversary!

Sheri began her career as an Occupational Therapist and Rehab Manager in Kentucky and has grown into a respected leader across our rehabilitation division. Over the years, she’s served in multiple roles, including Rehab Area Director, Director of Education & Program Development, Director of Clinical Services, and now Director of Clinical Compliance, Rehab.

What’s kept Sheri at Signature for 25 years? A mission that aligns with her values, a strong culture of family, and teammates who are committed to continuous improvement and quality care.

Her advice to new stakeholders: Lead with teamwork, integrity, and a positive attitude — and don’t be afraid to share your ideas.

Outside of work, Sheri loves time with her family, especially her grandbaby Athena, along with music, cooking, and attending auctions.

💙 Thank you, Sheri, for 25 years of dedication and leadership!

We were busy working the Football Trivia. We learned many things we didn't know about football. And we now have our two teams playing the Super Bowl identified, New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. From the consensus looks like they want the Patriots to win.

🎨 Speechless doesn’t even begin to cover it.

Bill recently shared this incredible piece he created, and we’re still in awe. Every brushstroke tells a story, and the heart behind this painting is impossible to miss. Moments like this remind us that creativity doesn’t slow down with age — it only gets richer.

Thank you, Bill, for sharing your gift with us and for inspiring everyone who sees your work. 💙

During our monthly Stakeholder meeting, we honored Terry Gross, Maintenance Director, who is retiring. His last day is Wednesday at 11 AM, he says. We will miss Terry as he is always ready to lend a helping hand to any department. We are happy for him as well. He does say he will always be ready to take Residents fishing. We will hold him to that one. Good luck and God bless you, Terry. We also honored the Stakeholder of the Month. Here you see April Hickman with Vera receiving her award. She too, will help anyone that is in need. Congratulations, April.

🤝 Sacred Seven Challenge: Embrace Teamwork 🤝

Winter weather tested us this week — and once again, teamwork showed up in powerful ways. From covering shifts and checking on residents to supporting one another through long, challenging days, our teams proved that we’re stronger together.

❄️ This week’s challenge: Start a Team “Thank-You” Chain.
Give a shoutout to a teammate who stepped up during the storm, then ask them to pass the appreciation along. Let’s see how far the gratitude goes!

📸 Share a photo of your team in action or tag a teammate below who made a difference when it mattered most.

This was a wonderful week in the Garden. Monday and Tuesday we started our mornings with our daily devotions and chronicles, we did our creative coloring, baby sensory, some balloon ball and listened to some good music of choice picked out by our residents. After lunch, we had football parfaits and listen to some dancing music and did our daily walks. Our Wednesday through Fridays started with our daily chronicles, devotions and prayer and Bible verses. We had our creative coloring, Valentine crafts, football collages, football games on the computer and football rice Krispy treats. We did our football walks, listened and danced to our music; we have had a fulfilled week this week and now we going to relax and wait on the snow. Everyone be safe out there on the roads.
