🥶❄️ It was a chilly day, but WOW was it a productive and joy-filled one — and today calls for a celebration! 🎉🐾

We kicked off our morning braving the cold in Crystal River, then headed back to the office to get things rolling for the Florida Manatee Festival this Saturday & Sunday 🐋✨ We’re so excited to be a vendor and can’t wait to see your smiling faces! We have so much to share, show, and offer — you won’t want to miss it!

But today is extra special in our hearts… 💕
Today we celebrate Master Chief & Scarlet 🐶🎂
Brother and sister, turning ONE year old — how does time fly by so fast?!

Mary is blessed to have Master Chief, and Jasmine has sweet Scarlet. We know without a doubt that our sweet boy Rebel is looking down from heaven, watching over them, and so proud of these two. 🌈🐾

Yesterday was such an AMAZING way to start the day! ☀️✨ We kicked off the morning bright and early at Citrus County Chamber of Commerce with the incredible ladies of Business Women's Alliance - Citrus County Chamber of Commerce, and let me tell you—the excitement, motivation, and energy for the new year was contagious! 💪💬

So grateful and blessed to be part of such a supportive, inspiring group of women who are ready to grow, connect, and make big things happen in 2026. 💛

🌟 Today was one of those days that fills your heart and reminds you why we do what we do. 🌟

We kicked off the morning the right way with Marie & Me Coffee ☕🚚 — and as always, they never disappoint! If you haven’t stopped by yet, make sure you do and support this amazing small business. They truly pour so much love back into our community, one cup at a time. 💛

Next, we had the honor of attending the ribbon-cutting atMISSION BBQ & MISSION BBQ 🇺🇸🔥. Getting the chance to speak with the owner, Bill Kraus, was incredibly inspirational. It truly reaffirmed our passion for serving our seniors and veterans in the community. And let’s talk about the food… 😍 the brisket literally melted in our mouths — absolute perfection! The place was packed with first responders, and it was such a blessing to be part of such an incredible, patriotic atmosphere.

In one of our own was supporting another local business O'Sullivan, DeLuca & Ressel Dental Care and was treated phenomenal. We appreciate the love and care.

But the day didn’t stop there! 💥 We wrapped things up meeting with an amazing group of individuals who are quickly becoming a true powerhouse for our community. The Senior Solution Advisory Group is focused on connecting vital information and resources to our seniors and veterans — and let me tell you, big things are coming. We did a lot of planning today, and we couldn’t be more proud and excited to be part of this impactful group.

💙 There is truly no better feeling than being in a room filled with people who genuinely want to help and uplift our community. We were so honored and blessed to be part of this with United Way of Hernando County 🙌

We are incredibly excited to be involved in this initiative - Long Term Recovery Group and to help spread the word about valuable resources available to our neighbors—especially for those who may have been impacted by hurricanes or other devastating situations. If you or someone you know is feeling overwhelmed, unsure where to turn, or just needs a little guidance, you are not alone. 💛

We would also like to ask for a moment of remembrance as we walked out out of the Hernando County Emergency Management headquarters we looked over and noticed this beautiful monument in front of the Hernando County Sheriff's Office and then when you look to the left, you see this beautiful monument of this sweet boy who gave his life protecting us 🐾💙

And because community work should also include a little fun 😊—over the weekend we spent some time creating our goals + summer “silly” vision boards, all while keeping our hearts focused on serving our community.

✨🌿 What an AMAZING day at the Citrus County Outdoor Expo! 🌿✨

We had such a fantastic time being part of this incredible event! A huge shoutout to Alicia from Citrus County Parks and Recreation for doing an outstanding job — the facility was PACKED, the energy was high, and people were flowing in nonstop! 🙌🎉

It was such a joy connecting with so many amazing people, seeing familiar faces, and making new friends along the way. 💛🤝

Today was one of those days that fills your heart and reminds you why community matters so much to us. 🌟

We started the morning bright and early visiting an absolutely phenomenal showroom at Top Gunn Construction — a must-see for anyone thinking about remodeling or building a new home. If you stop by, be sure to take a few minutes to speak with Jason Gunn, the owner. The passion, knowledge, and care he pours into what they offer is truly inspiring. We’re so grateful for the time and hospitality today.

From there, we headed straight to Citrus County to enjoy a wonderful luncheon with the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce. The food was amazing, but the real highlight was connecting — seeing familiar faces, meeting new friends, and sharing laughs with people who make our community so special.

What a beautiful way to kick off 2026 🤍

We started our day in Citrus County at the very first Citrus County Chamber Ambassadors meeting of the year, and it was so exciting to feel the energy, connection, and excitement for what’s ahead. We’re truly looking forward to all that this new year will bring.

In between meetings, we grabbed a quick bite—and let me tell you, the sweetest young lady at the Burger King in Homosassa surprised us with a crown 🫶👑 Of course, we wore it proudly alongside our ambassador name badges because moments like that remind us how special simple kindness can be.

Lunch took us over to Mr. Hot Pot & BBQ Buffet in Hernando, and wow… it absolutely hit the spot! If you haven’t tried it yet, do yourself a favor—you won’t be disappointed.

We closed out the evening at the Citrus County Chamber Monthly Mixer at Norton's Riverside Sports Bar & Grill, and it was nothing short of amazing. The place was packed, the smiles were overflowing, and the atmosphere was full of connection, laughter, and opportunity. It was the perfect reminder that work doesn’t always feel like work when you’re surrounded by such an incredible community.

We are beyond grateful and truly blessed to be able to do what we do, serve the people we serve, and be a part of such an amazing community.

Today was one of those days that stays with you long after it ends. 💙
Heart-touching, eye-opening, and incredibly meaningful.

We had the honor of attending the Hernando County Government Citizen Academy, and without a doubt, it was one of the best and most informative experiences we’ve ever been part of. We learned so much about how our public transit system works and even got a behind-the-scenes look at how traffic lights are operated and maintained. The amount of coordination, dedication, and care that goes into keeping our roads safe is truly amazing. We have such deep respect and gratitude for the men and women who work tirelessly—often behind the scenes—to keep our community moving safely every day. 🚦👏

One moment in particular touched our hearts deeply. We were presented with real street signs made by Hernando County, personalized with street names we chose. For us, that sign held so much more meaning—it was a beautiful reminder of our sweet boy we lost not too long ago. A moment of remembrance, love, and gratitude all wrapped into one. 🤍

Experiences like this are exactly why we do what we do. We strive to learn as much as we can about our community—its systems, its people, and its resources—so we can be a stronger support system and a reliable resource for our employees, clients, and families we serve.

✨ Starting the year strong ✨

This morning began with a quick Dunkin' run (and the cutest little bag ☕️💛) before heading to our Nature Coast Business Professionals networking meeting. What an incredible way to kick off the year!

We were truly honored to be the speakers today—sharing our passion, our purpose, and the heart behind what we do at Always Near Home Care. For us, it’s never just about business. It’s about people. It’s about community. It’s about showing up for one another and growing together.

We also have been busy behind the scenes and over the weekend. We got to have dinner with friends at Nouvelle Cuisine and got to support Dutch Bros Coffee ribbon cutting too!

We believe success isn’t meant to be reached alone. When one of us wins, we all win. 💫 Our goal is to support, uplift, collaborate, and ask the simple but powerful question: How can we help you?

💖 Behind the scenes… something truly magical happened. 💖 Please Read 💜

The last week and a half has been a whirlwind, and while we’ve been quiet on social media, our hearts have been so very full. Behind the scenes, we were blessed with the opportunity to deliver every single Snuggles for Seniors & Pets bag — and what an incredible experience it was.

We showed up where love was needed most — at individual homes where no one was expecting a knock at the door, in rehab facilities, assisted living, independent living, and anywhere a senior needed to be reminded that they are seen, loved, and never forgotten.

Because of you… your love, your support, and your belief in us… we were able to deliver 103 bags throughout our communities. 103 moments of joy. 103 Christmas blessings. 103 smiles that will stay with us forever. 🎄✨

Watching faces light up, hearing the laughter, and sharing those moments reminded us exactly why we do what we do. This isn’t just what we do — this is who we are. Caring for seniors isn’t a job to us; it’s a calling. It’s about showing up, building trust, and loving our seniors like family.

This experience touched us so deeply that we’ve already started dreaming bigger for 2026. We know we can do more. We know we can reach farther. And we know we can bring even more smiles — together.
