Do you want to know what predisposes you to shoulder pain and injury?

Come join Dr. Dylan Webster, a physical therapist who specializes in CrossFit related injuries and fellow CrossFit 623 member for a shoulder pain and injury prevention workshop.

You will learn:

- How to assess and improve your shoulder mobility to enhance your performance during overhead squats, snatches, kipping, clean & jerks, etc.

- CrossFit specific rehab exercises to improve overhead shoulder stability

Don’t Make This Mistake🫵

👉Exercising with certain types of pain greatly increases your risk for injury!

🔑If you have pain >3/10 that is not related to Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness or the burning 🔥 you get from normal intense exercise, sometimes referred to as the pump by bodybuilders, you are increasing your risk for injury ☹️

4 Exercise Modifications to Decrease Pain
1. Decrease the range of motion associated with the exercise.
2. Add a Tempo
3. Swallow your pride and lower the weight
4. Change the exercise to something less stressful for the painful area.

If you still have pain after utilizing all 4 of these modifications it’s time to seek out a Doctor of Physical Therapy!

4 Tried and True Shoulder Pain Relievers‼️

👉I’d venture to say millions of shoulders have been helped by the 4 exercises shown below. These exercises are “classics” when it comes to shoulder rehabilitation and for good reason, they work.

If you have shoulder pain, please try these 4 exercises before doing a bunch of overly complicated shoulder exercises that you’ve seen on social media!

As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I see patients with shoulder pain ever day get better by consistently completing simple exercises that address underlying weakness and coordination deficits throughout the shoulder girdle.

⭐️Complete 3x12 repetitions of each movement 3 times a week for a month and your shoulders will thank you‼️
