Yesterday we celebrated a HUGE milestone—graduating from therapy! ❤️ Our resident walked the red carpet surrounded by cheers, love, and so much pride. A special thank you to our incredible therapy department for the dedication and care they give every single day. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.

🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

We had such a fun and festive day with our residents! This morning, everyone got creative making rainbow cloud crafts. Each resident added either a piece of advice for the younger generation or a cheerful St. Patrick’s Day saying—such a meaningful and colorful display! 🌈☁️

For lunch, we enjoyed a delicious traditional meal of corned beef and cabbage, fried potatoes, and a sweet slice of key lime pie. 🍽️💚

The fun continued into the afternoon with shamrock punch, pinwheels, BBQ meatballs, and cake! It was a day full of laughter, creativity, and celebration. We are so lucky to spend these special moments together! ☘️✨

🎄✨ Holiday Jazz Christmas Celebration ✨🎷

Yesterday we had the joy of hosting our Residents’ Holiday Christmas Party, and it was truly a wonderful afternoon filled with music, food, and togetherness. Our theme this year was a Holiday Jazz Christmas, creating the perfect atmosphere for the season.

We were honored to have a talented local jazz group provide live music, filling the room with smooth holiday jazz while residents and their families enjoyed appetizers, festive drinks, and the excitement of gift giving. The celebration continued with an authentic Creole dinner, lovingly prepared by one of our very own kitchen staff members — a true Creole cook — which brought the feeling of a classic jazz club right into our community.

Having families join us made the day even more special, as we celebrated not just the holidays, but the sense of community that means so much to all of us. Seeing the smiles, laughter, and joy shared throughout the room is what makes events like these so meaningful.

I am also so thankful for our amazing dietary manager, who took over completely when I wasn’t feeling well and made sure everything was perfect. Being told not to touch a thing was a gift in itself — and our residents enjoyed every bite!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this beautiful celebration possible. ❤️🎶
