Welcome back loves…. Ready for a little fun and weirdness? And some sage advice to help with your day? Then let’s begin…. ::rubs hands together:: mushahaha!
Card 1: Mister Cain the Banker - while the carnival 1897 does not back in human currencies, it still requires the employ of Mister Cain to balance its karmic budgets. Throughout the ages, money has served as a large scale form of “I owe you “ notes; a way to connect people in a web of reciprocal relationships. Mister Cain works in the background at the carnival, ensuring that the ledgers of justice are balanced for each and every guest who enters. For some, this means a windfall of rewards after countless days and months of unrecognized struggling. For others, this means sudden and swift hardship after too many years of taking advantage of others.
On that note, whether we like it or not, life requires a keen eye toward finances for security, comfort, and the ability to help others when we are in times of of abundance. This card can be interpreted as an indication to prioritize your finances; whether that’s your actual money or your spiritual currency. Mister Cain advises you to be fiscally responsible; increasing your savings rates to secure wealth for your future self, but, also to give generously when you can.
Card 2: Carl Scheele the Chemist - “Feeling sick? Well, I’ve got just the remedy for that,” says Carl Scheele, the carnival’s chemist. His hand beside a wooden stall filled with colored bottles and vials, wearing an old white doctor’s jacket with a stained green Oxford shirt beneath. A student of both botany and pharmacology, the chemist is both a healer who provides the ill suffering with remedies, ointments, potions and cures, and also a scientist, willing to experiment and push the boundaries of current medical understanding.
In other words, have you been putting off an appointment, treatment or necessary personal discussion? Drawing this card is a a directive to prioritize your own health and well being; be it physical, mental or spiritual. Keep in mind, though, that while medicine has advanced in leaps and bounds over the past centuries, addressing one issue can cause unforeseen effects in other areas of your life. Take what the chemist prescribes, but be careful to walk the middle path between abstinence and excess.
Card 3: Ludas the Wag - as you take the sights and sounds of the carnival, a clown tumbles towards you. He honks a brass horn, dancing and kicking his feet in a goofy, charming performance. To carnival goers, he gives generously from an assortment of gifts that magically appear in his hands, bringing laughter and joy.
This card represents generosity and kindness, giving to others, and generosity towards ourselves. Be kind to others; the karma will be returned, a reminder to ‘pay it forward.’ It also represents fun and joy and the need sometimes to stop, kick off your shoes and play. It is a reminder to be silly and laugh often, whether singing out loud or dancing like no one is watching, playing a game, or being creative, have fun! Life is meaningless without pleasure. Embrace your inner child.
Card A: Heart Path - it’s not worth pursuing a path without passion. This road will only lead you to uncertainty and frustration. Follow your heart, and you can’t go wrong.
Card B: Raise the Bar - when you set higher standards for the people and situations in your life, you create space for new levels of joy and abundance. Rise above old patterns.
Card C: Receiving it all - you deserve to receive abundance at full capacity. Believe in your worth and trust that the universe is ready to deliver all that you desire. Open up!
I hope you found these cards as amazing as I did! Such characters! We may have to do these again sometime!
Have a blessed night loves!
