**Sudden Vision Loss Is a Medical Emergency**
We’ve received several calls recently from patients experiencing sudden loss of vision, and it’s important to remind everyone that this symptom requires **IMMEDIATE medical attention**.
If you ever experience a **sudden loss of vision** in one or both eyes, do NOT wait to see if it improves. This can be a sign of a serious condition such as a stroke, retinal detachment, or a blockage of blood flow to the eye.
🚨 **Please go to the Emergency Room immediately.** Time matters, and prompt evaluation can make the difference in saving vision.
Watch for symptoms such as:
• Sudden blindness or darkening of vision
• A curtain or shadow over part of your sight
• Sudden blurry or distorted vision
• Flashes of light or a sudden increase in floaters
Even if the vision returns quickly, it still needs **urgent medical evaluation**.
Please share this message to help spread awareness — it could help someone protect their sight.
