This birth carried layers.

A true knot in the umbilical cord.
Rare. Real. One of those moments that makes you pause and recognize just how delicate, resilient and sacred birth can be.

And then there was the outfit…

The grandfather of this sweet girl passed away during her big brother’s pregnancy.
“How should we remember you?” This mom asked her dad.
His answer…“When you see a willow tree.”
So specific. So intentional.

When she found this outfit in the store, covered in tiny willow trees, she knew it was meant for this baby.
A quiet thread of love woven straight from her dad to her child.

A true knot.
A willow tree.
Stories tied together in ways that feel deeply intentional.
And last but definitely not least….OUR FIRST BABY OF THE NEW YEAR!!!!!

Born unexpectedly at home in the wee hours of the morning, before mom ever had a chance to make it to the birth center. Calm, strong, and full of quiet presence right from the very start.

A reminder that birth doesn’t always follow the plan, but it always follows its own wisdom. Welcome to the world, little one. What a beautiful way to arrive.

Three straight days of births.
Bodies tired. Hearts full.

This is Janéa, , our amazing new birth assistant, finally catching a quiet moment after the last baby went home today. I looked up and saw her standing here, taking in the sky, just reflecting.

She has already proven herself to be steady, strong, and calm in every kind of storm. The kind of presence you feel instantly. The kind you trust without hesitation. She brings a grounding energy and a vibe that is uniquely hers, and it shifts the whole room in the best way.

Watching her pause like this felt symbolic. After holding space for so much life, emotion, intensity, and beauty, she took a moment to breathe it all in.

We are so grateful for you, Janéa. What a gift you are to this birth center and to every family you serve.
