Today we share both a heartfelt farewell and an exciting announcement for the future of our practice.

After much thought, our Practice Manager, Vanessa, has accepted a wonderful new professional opportunity. Her last day with Dedea, M.D. Family Medicine will be February 5. While we will deeply miss her, we are incredibly proud of her and grateful for the dedication, leadership, and heart she has poured into our practice. Vanessa has helped shape our office operations, strengthen our team culture, and support our patients with compassion and professionalism every day. We wish her nothing but success and happiness in this next chapter — she will always be part of our Dedea family.

At the same time, we are excited to announce that Dr. Anthony Dedea will be stepping into the role of Medical Director of Dedea, M.D. Family Medicine. Dr. Anthony has been an integral part of our practice’s growth from the very beginning, and his leadership, clinical excellence, and commitment to our patients and community make him the perfect fit for this role. We are confident that under his direction, our practice will continue to thrive and evolve while staying true to our mission of providing personalized, high-quality care to Hernando County.

To all my Macon Georgia peeps… this is a great band playing at a an awesome venue in Macon this weekend. Check them out and if you get a chance to talk to any of them, tell them we said hi:).

Saturday night! If you ever get the chance to see The Broken Hearts, do not pass it up. From the very first chord, this band transported the crowd straight into the heart of a classic rock dream. Every note, every lyric, and every guitar solo felt like the real deal—like Tom himself was there. The energy was electric. The vocals were spot-on. The crowd was singing, dancing, and completely swept up in the moment. From American Girl to Mary Jane’s Last Dance, they played all the hits—and played them well. It wasn’t just a concert; it was an experience. A celebration of the music we love, done with real passion and respect. I honestly can’t wait to go again. One of the best tribute shows I’ve ever seen. If you’re a Tom Petty fan, or just love great live music, The Broken Hearts are a must-see. - Fan Review
