Our Story

Janie Rushnell opened Skintastic back in April of 2011. After being a stay at home mom for 13 years, she needed a hobby and a project. Her children were only 11 and 13 years old.

She entered the market in a quiet way. She answered her own phone and kept things small. It’s actually all she wanted and envisioned for her business. She was pleasantly happy!

BUT... about three years ago she got that “feeling.” You know that feeling when the universe starts pushing you to do more? Well, she accepted the challenge and set a goal to really build Skintastic!

The timing was perfect. Her children are now 20 and 22 years old. She and her husband are empty nesters!
