Diane Gober

Diane McCool Gober passed away on December 17, 2025, in Columbia, Tennessee.

Born in Nashville on May 29, 1944, to Estle and Patricia McCool, Diane was the eldest of seven children and the one her family instinctively looked to - the calm in the storm, the creative thinker, the problem-solver, and the steady source of warmth and humor who made every room brighter just by entering it.

Diane met her future husband, Gary R. Gober, in Nashville, and together they built a marriage that spanned more than four decades. Their life together was marked by deep partnership, shared adventure, and a devotion to their three children that never once wavered.

Brilliant, curious, and endlessly capable, Diane brought order, creativity, and humanity to every organization and relationship she touched. She excelled in administrative management within legal offices and played a pivotal role in the success of her husband’s law firm by managing operations with both precision and heart. A natural leader, she served in prominent roles including President of the Auxiliary of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Executive Director of the Melvin M. Belli Society, Executive Director of the Taos Legal Society of Lawyers and Spouses, and on the Del Webb HOA Board.

Her work and love of travel and adventure took her across the globe, planning events in cities far from home and forging friendships wherever she went. But Diane didn’t simply “travel” - she explored. She walked on glaciers, climbed volcanoes, wandered Turkish bazaars, and once rode a camel named Mickey Mouse to the pyramids. She listened, learned, laughed, and connected with people from every culture she encountered. To Diane, the world was a classroom filled with beauty, history, and human stories, and travel was her favorite form of education.

At home, Diane was just as extraordinary. She was an exceptional cook, a skill passed down from her grandmother, and she shared that gift generously with family and friends. She was a thoughtful and welcoming host - equally at ease planning major events around the world or preparing a warm meal for loved ones gathered around her table. A passionate reader, she taught her children and grandchildren to love books the way she first learned to love them: curled up close, turning pages together.

She cared deeply for the environment and often rose before dawn on coastal vacations to help newly hatched sea turtles make their way safely to the ocean. She gave freely of

her time, her attention, her energy, and her heart - always the first to show up when someone needed support.

Family was the center of Diane’s world. Christmas was one of her most joyful traditions, and for decades she signed every gift from “Santa,” much to the delight of her grandchildren, who lovingly knew her as Mimi. What she cherished most was having her family close, hearing their laughter, supporting their dreams, and knowing they felt loved.

Diane is survived by her husband, Gary Gober; her children, Bobby Yeargin, Kimberly Yeargin, and Jennifer Worden; her siblings, Jim McCool, Mary Jane Neese, Joyce McKnight, and Jean Taylor; her grandchildren, Faith Andrea Yeargin, Elise Yeargin, Sebastian Fehrmann, Evan Osorio, and Ash Osorio; and many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Diane made life richer, kinder, and more beautiful for all who knew her. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, her boundless curiosity, her joyful laughter, and the love she poured into her family and community. Her legacy lives on in the stories she created, the adventures she inspired, and the lives she touched with grace and warmth.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor.

Arrangements are entrusted to Spring Hill Memorial. No services are planned at this time. To share memories or words of comfort, please visit www.springhill-memorial.com or email Gary Gober.

Christine Louise Griggs

Christine Louise Montgomery Griggs passed away peacefully on December 15, 2025 in Columbia, Tennessee. She had faced declining health in the past few years and wasn't able to go and do all the things she loved, but she was enjoying life nevertheless and was able to celebrate her 94th birthday at home in Spring Hill with her family. A highlight was meeting her newest great grandchild who came from Oklahoma to celebrate. She was able to hold him and "pinch his cheeks". It was a grand day for all, with lots of good food, laughter, impromptu singing while great granddaughter Evie played her guitar. A fall during Thanksgiving week broke her hip and surgery wasn't an option. She spent the last weeks of her life at Williamson Medical Center and NHC Columbia, where family gathered and surrounded her with love.

Louise was born on November 6, 1931 to Samuel Harris and Linnie (Smith) Montgomery in Bismarck, Arkansas, the youngest of three children. She grew up in a Christian home filled with love which formed the foundation for the rest of her life.

She married Fred Griggs on June 23, 1951, in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and soon they had a family of 5. They moved to West Memphis, Arkansas in 1960. Louise had worked for the Hot Springs newspaper and was able to secure a job with the Commercial Appeal in Memphis while Fred looked for employment. She continued and built a lifelong career with the newspaper, retiring in 1993. She was known for her exceptional attention to detail at work and displayed that same care and attention to details in her home life. She was an excellent seamstress and loved decorating her home. She managed a career and a family, long before it was the norm.

A woman of strong faith, Louise treasured her family above all else. Her greatest joy and greatest love were her family. She was incredibly proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nothing made her smile more than seeing pictures of the "little ones" enjoying life with big smiles.

She had the gift of listening and only offered advice if asked. She lived her life by example and was a Christian who truly exemplified the teachings of Christ, to help the less fortunate, be respectful of others and be kind and loving.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Fred Griggs, her brother, Samuel Arliss Montgomery and her sister, Gladys Jones.

Louise is survived by her children: Kevin (Morgan) Griggs of Franklin, Tennessee; Stephanie (Jeff) Bonner of Spring Hill, Tennessee; and Julie (Randy) Lindemuth of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her grandchildren: Amanda Bonner, Claire Bonner (David) Nelms, Paul (Amy) Bonner, Blake (Christine, Predeceased) Griggs, Hunter Griggs, Grace Griggs, Mary Lindemuth (Rob) Parr, and Caroline Lindemuth (Clay) Chamberlain; and her great-grandchildren, Avery, Luke, Harrison and Camille Nelms, Evie Adamson, Jacob and Sam Bonner, Arthur and Theodore Parr, and Charlotte and Chet Chamberlain.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Danny Brashier of First Baptist Church of Spring Hill. Following the service, Louise will be laid to rest in the Garden of Serenity at Spring Hill Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest a donation to First Baptist Church of Spring Hill, Tennessee, in memory of Louise.

The care of Ms. Louise Montgomery Griggs has been entrusted to Spring Hill Memorial. To share words of comfort, please visit www.spring-hill-memorial.com.

Dennis Clyde Allen

Dennis Clyde Allen went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 13, 2025. He was born in Anniston, Alabama, to the late L. Clyde Allen and Virginia Dixon Allen.

Growing up in Atlanta, Dennis had a deep love for music and an even deeper love for Jesus. Those two passions became the foundation of his life. He was gifted with perseverance, discipline, and an uncommon willingness to give himself fully to the work before him, not for recognition, but for faithfulness.

Music became the defining language of Dennis’s life. Beginning with the piano, over his life, he developed into a masterful pianist and gifted composer, arranger, instructor, and musician whose talents would span more than four decades in the music industry.

During his early professional years, Dennis played and conducted the orchestra at Six Flags Over Georgia. In the midst of music and performance, Dennis met Nan Corbitt, a gifted singer whose voice and spirit immediately caught his attention. Their meeting marked the beginning of a remarkable love story rooted in faith, creativity, and shared purpose. Married for more than fifty years, Dennis and Nan built a life together filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to God. Their home was one of music, faith, and encouragement where their sons were raised amid rehearsals, writing sessions, and prayer. Their grandchildren would later be welcomed with the same joy and intentional love. Dennis took deep pride in his family, delighting in watching his sons grow into the men they would become and cherishing every moment spent with his grandchildren.

From a young age, Dennis knew in his heart that he was called to follow Jesus Christ. That calling shaped every decision he made and every gift he developed. He often said that Jesus was his true employer, and he devoted his life to serving God through music. Answering that call, Dennis pursued theological education, was ordained into ministry, and faithfully used his talents to serve the church.

Dennis served as Minister of Music and Youth in churches throughout Florida and Georgia, where he became known not only for musical excellence, but also for his compassion and genuine care for young people. He believed deeply in mentoring, encouraging, and equipping others, and many of the youth he guided went on to successful careers, carrying with them the confidence and faith he helped instill.

For more than 40 years in the music industry, Dennis has been a trusted and influential voice in Christian worship. Alongside Nan, he poured his creativity into writing and arranging music that churches could truly use, music that lifted voices, strengthened faith, and told the story of the Gospel. Together, they published more than 1,200 songs, musicals, and dramatic works for adult, student, and children’s choirs. Their music has been sung in churches around the world and has sold over three million copies.

Dennis’s work was recognized with multiple GMA Dove Awards for Musical of the Year, along with numerous nominations, and he was later honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Southern Baptist Convention.

Dennis held degrees from the University of Georgia and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and shared his wisdom as an associate professor of worship and church music at Truett McConnell University in Cleveland, Georgia. Teaching allowed him to invest once again in the next generation, something he considered both a privilege and a responsibility.

Dennis Clyde Allen leaves behind a legacy of faith, music, and love that will continue to be felt wherever voices are lifted in praise. His life was a song well written, one of service, humility, and joyful devotion to God and family. Though his earthly work is complete, the melodies he created and the lives he touched remain, he now rests in the presence of the Savior he faithfully served, hearing the words he lived for: “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”

He is survived by his loving wife of over fifty years, Nan Corbitt Allen; his sons, Mark (Megan) Allen, and Andrew (Diana Star) Allen; his grandchildren, Brileigh Harper Allen and Crosby Hudson Allen, as well as extended family.

Celebration of Life will be held at Judson Baptist Church 4900 Franklin Road Nashville, TN Friday, December 19 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation is from 12:00 to 2:00. The service will be live streamed at YouTube:

Bethany Hash Lennon

Bethany Hash Lennon, originally of Fairview, NC (Union County) and age 60, was called home on December 7, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Her resilience was nothing short of remarkable, a true testament to the fierce spirit she carried throughout her life and to knowing a great Savior on whose strength she could rely.

Bethany built a meaningful career as a passionate and gifted physical therapist, mostly for patients in rehabilitation following a stroke, but more recently for Parkinson’s patients. Physical therapy was a calling she fulfilled with brilliance and compassion until finally stepping away completely just a few years ago. Her devotion to loving and serving others was mirrored in her faith, as a member of Hope UC in Thompson’s Station, TN, and Thompson Station Church. Her life was a sermon lived rather than preached, yet it spoke ever so loudly.

Though small in stature, Bethany was mighty in every way that counted. She was a fearless and resilient Southern belle, kindhearted, steadfast, and unafraid to stand firm in what she believed was right. Her moral compass never wavered. She loved deeply, protected fiercely, and prayed boldly. To know Bethany was to know someone who would show up, lift you up, and never give up.

She was the neighborhood mom, the foster mom, the friend who became family, and the one whose door and heart were always open.

Bethany’s memory will be forever cherished by her loving husband, Patrick Alan Lennon; her loving son, Sam (Makala Marsee) Lennon; her loving siblings, Cindy Whitley, Mike (Barbara) Hash, Robert (Rosanna) Hash, and Larry (Veronica) Hash; along with a host of adoring nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-nephews, dear in-laws, and an world of grateful friends who were blessed by her presence.

Her story is one of strength, faith, love, and unwavering resilience. A legacy that will continue to guide those who knew and loved her. The care of Mrs. Bethany Hash Lennon has been entrusted to Spring Hill Memorial. To share words of comfort and condolences, please visit www.springhill-memorial.com. To contribute in her honor, please send donations to the Heimerdinger Foundation for Meals (https://hfmeals.org/), which provides healthy meals for all family members for 12 weeks following a family member’s cancer diagnosis, or contribute time, service, funds, transportation, or prayer support to any cancer patient in need.

William Amirante

William Gerard Amirante, 64, died on Sunday, December 14, 2025. He was known by those who loved him as Billy.

Billy was born on April 25, 1961, to his late parents, Oreste (Tony) and Carmelina (Lynn). Alongside his five siblings, Billy was raised in Carmel, NY, and graduated from Carmel High School in 1979, where he was a dedicated athlete and a friend to many.

He will be missed for his caring and headstrong nature, unyielding love for New York sports, and many days spent cooking with friends and family. Billy was an avid movie watcher and radio listener. He had a loud and infectious laugh that he unapologetically let loose no matter where he was. Above all, Billy was funny, gregarious, and warm-hearted.

Billy lived a life full of love for those around him and is survived by his children and their families: Chelsea (Corey), Nicholas (Emma), and Jennifer (Alex and Josephine); his siblings Diane (Carl), Bobby (Steven), Denise, Tommy (Chuck), and Kim (Kenny); as well as his nieces, nephew and close friends of both Billy and the Amirante family.

A service and celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Judy Charlotte Dusche

Judy Charlotte Dusche, age 78, passed away on December 12, 2025, in Franklin, Tennessee, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. True to her character, Judy met each chapter of her life—especially the most difficult ones—with quiet strength, determination, and unwavering faith.

Born on August 9, 1947, in Neptune, New Jersey, Judy was the beloved daughter of the late Stanley Clayton and Charlotte Smith Clayton. Raised in Ocean Grove, New Jersey, she was active and adventurous, developing a lifelong love for travel, swimming, and downhill skiing. Judy met her future husband, Robert “Bert” Dusche, on the ski slopes when he invited her to cut ahead of him in the lift line—a fitting beginning for a lifelong partnership built on confidence, connection, and a shared sense of fun.

Judy devoted her professional life to caring for others as a registered nurse specializing in medical-surgical care. Nursing was more than a career; it was a reflection of her core values. Her servant’s heart extended beyond the hospital through her volunteer work as a guardian ad litem in North Carolina, where she advocated for children with compassion and integrity.

Confident yet humble, Judy had a natural way of drawing people in. She was devoted, generous, and deeply nurturing to her family. Her grandchildren, whom she adored, will fondly remember her impeccable organizational skills, the way she chuckled at her own jokes, and her constant readiness to join them in a board game.

In 2012, Judy moved to Tennessee, eventually settling in Thompson’s Station for the past ten years. There, she found a close-knit community at Thompson Station Church, forming deep connections and lasting friendships that brought her great joy.

Judy’s resilience was nothing short of inspiring. She faced breast, skin, and blood cancer with tenacity, grace, and unwavering resolve. Her strength served as a source of encouragement to everyone who walked alongside her during her journey.

Lovingly known as “Gam-Gam,” Judy’s memory will be cherished by her son and daughter-in-law, Pete and Nichole Dusche; step-sons, Mike (Marilyn) Dusche and Fred (Ana) Dusche; granddaughters, Cora and Genevieve Dusche; and her eight nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her childhood best friend, Gail Jordan, whose bond with Judy spanned a lifetime.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert “Bert” Dusche; her twin sister, Elinor; her brother, Cary; and her sister, Jean.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Judy’s honor to Thompson Station Church, the American Cancer Society, or Operation Christmas Child, a cause especially dear to her heart.

Visitation will be held at Thompson Station Church (2604 Thompson's Station Rd E) on Saturday, December 20, from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m., with a memorial service immediately following at 11:30.

The care of Ms. Judy Charlotte Dusche has been entrusted to Spring Hill Memorial. To share words of comfort and condolences, please visit www.springhill-memorial.com.

Rosario G. Knobloch

Rosario G. Knobloch, a woman whose light, laughter, and adventurous soul touched every life she encountered, departed this world on December 3, 2025, in Lebanon, Tennessee. Born in Villamartín, Spain, Rosario was the cherished daughter of Francisco Gutierrez Fredande and Francisca Macias Carvente.

Rosario married the love of her life, David W. Knobloch, and together they built a life marked by devotion, resilience, and unforgettable memories. With David’s military career, the family had the unique opportunity to live in many cities around the world, including those in Africa and various states in the US. Rosario made every place feel like a home, these experiences shaped their lives and created stories they will forever cherish. “It’s the love of a family that makes a house a home.”

Full of life and joy, Rosario possessed an adventurous spirit that made the chapters of her life rich, colorful, and completely unforgettable. A devoted Catholic, she was a faithful member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Baldwin, Michigan, where she found solace and inspiration, especially through the kindness and readings of Father Joe.

Rosario adored her family with every ounce of her heart. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she embraced her role as grandmother with a mixture of tenderness, humor, and just the right amount of mischievous fun. Her loved ones could spend hours sharing stories of her many spirited shenanigans, each one more entertaining than the last.

She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life: admiring the beauty of the outdoors, tending to her flowers and garden, and filling her home with music, most often the beloved songs of Julio Iglesias, which she sang at the top of her lungs. A phenomenal cook with a deep love of seafood, Rosario developed a passion for crabbing during the years she lived in South Carolina, a hobby she embraced wholeheartedly.

Her playful, competitive nature brought laughter to many; she could light up a bowling alley or a casino with her humor and spirited enthusiasm. Rosario also had a natural gift for making others smile; her comedic timing and warm personality made her unforgettable to everyone she met.

Rosario’s memory will be forever cherished by her children: Jose Macias, Michael W. (Heidi) Knobloch, and Kathy Benson; her grandchildren: Andrew (Ashley) Hammersley, Matthew Knobloch, William Knobloch, Kelsey (Nick) Dwyer, and Thomas “Tommy” Hammersley; and her great-grandchildren: Charlie, Bode, Koen, and Zoey.
