A yoga sangha is special--it is much more than a gym! We follow these guidelines as we grow in all the limbs of practice:

The path to better health and inner radiance should be accessible to all. Our yoga community is dedicated to inclusion: people of all abilities, sizes, racial and gender identities are welcome here. The studio offers services and events at fair prices with free, sliding scale, and scholarship opportunities available. We recognize the earth beneath the studio has a long history and our practice includes honoring the indigenous peoples of the land and environmental stewardship for the future. The wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda is a gift; one which has been both generously shared and culturally appropriated. Our teachers pledge to honor the lineage of gurus through recognizing the history and culture of South Asia.

There's and old saying,"an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure,: and that is particularly true in aging.

Improving balance, weight distribution, and joint strength reduces the risk of falling and so much more! The science of epigenetics has shown that how we move shifts how our cells and tissues regenerate. Many of the common diseases that are associated with aging are actually related to how we move and epigenetic changes.

A well known example is the dorsal fin dysfunction seen in captive whales (think Free W***y) which doesn't improve even if the whale is released back into ocean life. Once lost, the tissue integrity cannot be restored.

Come and get insight into dynamic aging THIS Saturday March 14th! See our bio/website for workshop registration.

We are excited to bring Kirtan to Spring Lake at On The Path Yoga! Join Nina Dulek and Blake Daugherty in this special community event.

Kirtan is a form of devotional call-and-response singing rooted in the bhakti (heart-centered) traditions of India. Together, we’ll chant simple, repetitive mantras—melodies that are easy to learn and accessible to everyone, in both Sanskrit and English.
No performance. No pressure. Just voices weaving together.
Through mantra, rhythm, and shared intention, we create a space that connects us to the Divine—however each of us understands or experiences it.
You don’t need to know Sanskrit, and you don’t need to “sing well.” Whether you come to chant, to listen, to meditate, or simply to sit in the vibration, you are welcome here.

In Foundations this week we complete our exploration of the Subtle Body, known as the Suksma in Sanskrit, through the energetic centers of the Chakras.

Join us in exploring the crown Chakra, Saharaha, Tuesday at 5:30pm or Wednesday at 10:30am. And no worries if you haven't made the rest of the series--each class is taught both as a singular practice and part of a deeper path.

Drop ins are only $10 and all are welcome!

Yoga is not just a big house, it is a mansion. That is why our studio offers so. much. more. than asana practice. Don't get me wrong, to me movement is both medicine and sacred, but there are other, deeper paths to follow.

That is why we are offering the following this spring:
Meditation and the Subtle Body--with today's final class focusing on the Crown Chakra through a Yoga Nidra practice. This is a FREE community event at 4pm on Monday, Feb. 16th. A perfect gateway into the Lunar New Year.
Women's Wisdom Circle--meets monthly with a circle THIS Thursday at 7pm. Our focus this year is the history of the Goddess through many earth-based traditions. Open to all!
Introduction to Ta**ra: The Mahavidyas--is a signature immersion course that explores the wisdom tradition of Ta**ra Yoga by learning about the Goddesses Kali, Tara, and Tripura Sundari. This course starts soon and pre-registration is required.
Seasons of the Sage--an exploration of the four seasons of a woman's life span, including spiritual connections, physical manifestations, and social conditioning. How do we BEST grow into our bodies, our Selves?

Plus, Sandy offers regular ReX Method™ Workshops, Ayurvedic Lifestyle personalized consultations, and prenatal prep to help you find better health, balance, and spaciousness--one way to more deeply explore asana through functional movement.
