Come Together! Thank You Pioneer Resources, Inc. for letting Gracious Grounds know about this opportunity to build confidence and independence for our Residents.

When organizations come together, great things happen.

Through our collaboration with Gracious Grounds, resident participants completed a 6-week, hands-on cashiering and customer service training. The Pioneer Resources Job Development Team provided real-time POS (point-of-sale) transaction practice, along with coaching in problem-solving, professional communication, and workplace confidence.

These are skills that translate directly into competitive employment.

This is what community collaboration looks like.

Chamber Ambassadors and Staff met with Rose Dunlap for a Gracious Grounds tour.

They toured the Despelder and Lakeshore Flats properties, talked about what Gracious Grounds does, and they also received a glimpse at what the new Ability Way homes will look like.

The Gracious Grounds Annual Gala will be Thursday, April 23 at the Spring Lake Country Club. Chris Streng will be the emcee, and Jesse Bruce will be the DJ for their glow afterparty.
