Spring Lake First Aid Squad

Spring Lake First Aid Squad The Spring Lake First Aid Squad was formed in the summer of 1928. The squad is funded in two ways.

The squad was formally incorporated in the spring of 1930, as the second incorporated squad in the country. One is by a line item on both the Spring Lake and Spring Lake Heights Borough budgets, and the second is by the generous contributions of both boroughs residents. The Spring Lake First Aid Squad is completely volunteer and welcomes new members. If you want to make a difference in your community in this manner please contact the squad for information and an application to join using the information above. No experience is necessary, the squad will arrange for all necessary training.

Be alert when walking your dog or driving along local streets watch out for people who may have fallen it’s extremely icy out there. Wear appropriate footwear and carry your cellphone with you even if you just running out the door for a minute. Checking in on your older neighbors they might need help getting their garbage or recycling out to the curb. In the extreme cold this weekend stay indoor if you don’t need to go out. But know we are here for you 24/7 if you need us.

Come join us for an open house on Saturday January 17, 2026 from 10am until 12pm at our building 309 Washington Avenue. Join us for some light refreshments, learn all about us and maybe even fill out an application to join. We are always looking for new members. We are going to be celebrating our 98th year as an all volunteer first aid squad, something we are extremely proud of. Hope to see you!
