Fusion Bodywork & Fitness Hi!! We are a locally owned massage and fitness studio in Spring Mills, PA. Hi, I’m Naomi Cahill. I enjoy running, lifting weights, and eating delicious food.

We are excited to be able to bring professional massage and fitness services to the area with the hope of helping each client live a life with less pain and more enjoyment. I grew up in Centre Hall and absolutely love being out in nature and spending time with my family and friends. I believe it is my life’s calling to help you overcome any pain and injuries, and teach you how to take better care of your body. I am thrilled to be a part of your healing journey. I’m a licensed massage therapist and a certified fitness trainer. I graduated from Penn State with a degree in Kinesiology and completed Pittsburgh School of Massage Therapy’s 600+ hour program. My fitness certification is through International Sports Sciences Association, and I’m also a Corrective Exercise Specialist through National Academy of Sports Medicine. This unique mixture of education enhances my ability to work with the body from both massage and fitness perspectives. Why did I want this mixture? Because, it changed my life. I have had debilitating, chronic pain for over 15 years, and nothing decreased the pain. Once I began a very basic fitness program, and received massage regularly, I finally started to experience relief. Being physically active and receiving bodywork has increased my quality of life, making it possible for me to do the things I love again. I strive to help others who also struggle with chronic pain and frustrating injuries. A few techniques I have learned and hope to share with you are: deep tissue Swedish massage, myofascial release, trigger point (neuromuscular) therapy, sports massage, assisted stretching, cranial-sacral therapy, and more

I currently offer the following services: Traditional Massage, Bodywork Session, Pregnancy Massage, Cranial-Sacral Therapy, Corrective Exercise, Functional Fitness, and Personal Training. I look forward to working with you in January 2023! LMT: MSG 014008 ABMP Certified

It’s beginning to look A LOT like Christmas!

Don’t forget, if you’d like to add an ornament to Fusion’s Christmas tree this year, now’s a great time to bring one in! Many of you have helped decorate our tree in the past, and we love keeping that tradition going. It’s completely optional — but if you want to participate, we’d be thrilled to add your ornament to the tree.

You can bring it in during your scheduled session, or, if you don’t have an appointment but still want to join in, just stop by during business hours and leave your ornament on the front desk with your name so we know who it’s from.

💪 Fitness Friday ~ Core without the floor!

Strengthen your core without ever getting on the floor. Try these simple standing exercises to improve stability, balance, and posture. Perfect for at-home workouts or a quick break during your day.

1 - 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 & 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 – March in place, reach arms overhead, tighten your core.
2 - 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 – Bring elbow to knee, side to side, for oblique muscles & balance.
3 - 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐢𝐜𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 – Twist and lift knees to target obliques.

Aim for 10–12 reps each side. Less is still better than nothing!

𝐅𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲 - 𝐋𝐞𝐭’𝐬 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐮𝐩 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐒𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐬

Now that we’ve walked through some steps to help prep you for great squats, lets actually do some!

When you squat, think:
1. Hips back like you’re sitting into a chair
2. Weight in your heels (you should be able to wiggle your toes!)
3. Chest up, keeping that natural curve in your lower back.
4. Move slow and controlled — no rushing.

1-3 sets of 5-12 Reps is a great place to start. And have some fun with your repetitions:
▪️Steady & Controlled - lower for 2, hold for 1, rise for 2
▪️Strength Builder - Lower for 1, Hold for 1, rise for 4
▪️Slow Burn - lower for 4 counts, rise for 1-2 count
▪️Ultimate Burn - Lower for 4, hold for 2-4, rise for 2-4
▪️On Fire - lower for 1, Pulse gently 3-5 times (raise and lower 2-3 inches for each pulse), rise for 1

Good form keeps your joints happy, your core engaged, and your workout more effective.

Staying healthy through the holidays doesn’t mean missing out — it just means being intentional. Here are some simple ways to enjoy the holiday season and stay on track:

🧠 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒎𝒐𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏
▪️Eat slowly, chew your food, and pause throughout your meal to reassess hunger.
▪️Check in with your body before going back for seconds. It takes 15-30 minutes for your gut to tell your brain if you feel full. Give your body some time to see if you are truly still hungry or not.
▪️Pick the treats you really want — not the ones you’re just eating because they’re there. A few won’t ruin your progress, but an entire plate may be a little much.
▪️Use a smaller plate to naturally keep portions in check.

🥤 𝑲𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒈𝒚 𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒚
▪️Drink a glass of water before meals.
▪️Don’t skip earlier meals to “save up” — this almost always leads to overeating.
▪️Add a short walk before or after meals to boost digestion and mood.

▪️Holiday food is meant to be enjoyed, so enjoy it!
▪️One meal never ruins progress — it’s the habits you keep most of the time that matter.
▪️Aim for balance, not perfection.
▪️As a great trainer once told me “What you do between New Years and Thanksgiving is more ‘important' than what you do between Thanksgiving and New Years”.

Enjoy your celebrations, fuel your body well, and show yourself kindness this season by not over-indulging!

Get a jump on your 2026 self-care and fitness routine! Standing appointments for massage and personal training are now open — and trust us, this is the easiest way to stay consistent all year long.

When your sessions are already scheduled at regular intervals, you keep your body balanced, stay ahead of pain, hit your fitness goals, and avoid the stress of trying to squeeze in last-minute appointments. Plus, having your spot locked in means you’re way less likely to let life get in the way of your care or your workouts.

Friday Fitness! 💪
Today we’re talking about one of the most useful strength moves out there — the Sit to Stand (aka the foundation of a great squat!).

Start seated on a sturdy chair, feet flat on the floor. Engage your legs and core as you rise to stand — then slowly lower back down with control.
This move builds leg and hip strength, improves mobility, and makes everyday movements easier.

Give it a try and see how many smooth sit-to-stands you can do in a row!
