Today we had the joy and honor of celebrating Mary with a heartfelt gathering amongst our residents, employees, and her family. Delicious treats were shared, conversations lingered, memories were told, and there were some tears, but lots of laughter. It was a beautiful reminder of the many relationships Mary has built over her nearly 38 years of service, and the lives she has touched so deeply.

Mary, thank you for the love, care, and faithfulness you’ve given so many. We wish you rest, joy, and rich days ahead.

🐛 A Little Bit of Magic in the Commons! 🦋

Our Life Enrichment Coordinator carefully collected monarch eggs from milkweed earlier this summer and nurtured them into tiny caterpillars. She then brought them into Lake Minnetonka Shores so residents could witness their amazing transformation up close—from munching away on leaves, to hanging in their “J” shape before forming a chrysalis, and finally emerging as beautiful monarch butterflies!

After weeks of watching this incredible cycle of life, our residents joined together to release the butterflies earlier this month, sending them off to begin their journey.

Your lives are filled with wisdom, resilience, and stories that inspire us all. Thank you for reminding us that every day is a gift and that joy, love, and community know no age. 💙
