Ark of Serenity

Ark of Serenity A safe place where we use equine and talk therapy to help heal and create balance in your life.

Ark of Serenity is exactly what you think when you read the name. It's a lovely 150 year old farm set in the southern end of Minnesota overflowing with all kinds of lovely animals, creating a serene environment conducive to healing your heart and soul. Founders; Nic Jacobs and Natalie London are a mother/daughter team who will utilize both equine and talk therapies to heal and create balance in the mind, body and soul. Located on 10 pastoral acres 13 miles from the Iowa border, The Ark will offer individual and group sessions on a daily basis as well as 3 night, four day retreats from April to October.

Here comes the Fall…

Hello everyone and happy Autumn! While the Ark of Serenity no longer exists in the physical sense it will always remain close to my heart. I want to thank each and everyone of our friends for being so supportive of us over the last few years. All of our animals have found beautiful and loving homes in and around Minnesota.

While we remain committed to the belief that animals are a an important piece in the healing of the soul, our path takes us elsewhere at this time. We wish you all the best in your journey. 🐾🐾🐾 🍁🍁🍁

It is with profound sadness I announce that our beloved Jax is no longer with us. Jax was a beautiful soul filled with boundless love and energy. He knew exactly how to get himself out of trouble (which was often) and make you melt.

Jax, the escape artist, made one last run for freedom and lost his life. I loved Jax; we all did. As much as he drove us crazy, he endeared himself in our hearts. We will miss Jax and the energy he brought to our home. However, we believe he is in puppy heaven chasing Butterflies and frolicking through the fields. He is one more angel watching over us and for that we are grateful.
