We’re thrilled to welcome Allison as our new Director of Philanthropy at Covenant Living at Mount Miguel! With over 25 years of experience as a nonprofit professional, writer, and editor, Allison brings a wealth of knowledge and heart to our community.

Her work has supported seniors, educators, and families facing food and housing insecurity—all with creativity, compassion, and a deep respect for those she serves.

A proud graduate of the University of San Diego’s Nonprofit Leadership and Management program, Allison is excited to begin this new chapter, inspired by the elders who’ve shaped her journey.

Ever heard of a Donor Advised Fund (DAF)? It’s a simple, flexible way to manage charitable giving — almost like having a personal account for the causes you care about most.

A DAF lets you plan your giving, receive potential tax benefits, and recommend grants to organizations that reflect your values — including meaningful missions like Covenant Living’s Benevolent Care Fund.

As you plan for 2025 year-end giving, it’s a good idea to initiate any DAF requests by December 2 to ensure timely processing.
