mvmt360golf Don't let physical restrictions limit your golf swing! And finding the right provider is a key to success.

MVMT 360 Golf is dedicated to helping golfers of all skill levels move better, perform better, and play better so they can enjoy this amazing game for a lifetime. If you’ve been dealing with some sort of injury, pain, or movement limitation then it’s likely you’ve already tried the self-help approach to pain relief only to get little to no results.Perhaps you’ve been told by your physician or another healthcare provider to just rest and things will get better?Maybe you’ve been using prescription pain killers or muscle relaxers only to find that they provide temporary relief, often have undesirable side effects, and don’t really fix the underlying problem. It can be difficult to navigate pain relief on your own. Just strolling into the closest Physical Therapy or Chiropractic clinic is a bit of a dice roll. Often times big chain Physical Therapy clinics have you double- or triple- booked with one therapist meaning you’re left in the corner pulling on an exercise band alone and without any guidance. Most of our clients who have had this experience are left unsatisfied and still in pain.On the other side of the spectrum, Chiropractors provide effective short-term adjustments but try to sell you on long term plans and pain often returns quickly. Is this starting to sound familiar?

A 2016 study randomly assigned 267 golfers to either a Golf Warm-Up group or a control group. They monitored injuries over time.

Only 8 of 62 participants in the Golf Warm-Up Group reported injuries, which equated to over 8x's less injury risk compared to the control group.

Food for thought considering it only takes 5-10 minutes to perform a good dynamic warm-up before your round!

Working on correcting Reverse Spine Angle during his backswing! Check out this Half Kneeling Lift. Notice how his (L) side is elevated in order to level out his pelvis and start from a true neutral position.

RSA is one of the leading causes of lower back pain among golfers.

Typically, we see golfers start to compensate with RSA due to mobility restrictions in the thoracic spine (mid-back) and hips. The lower back is forced to pick up the slack in order to create more rotation in the backswing.

This can also lead to golfers losing posture (standing up) in the backswing or coming in over the top on the downswing!
