Team Abilities – Empowering Independence

Team Abilities is seeking a reliable, organized, and compassionate Appointment Runner / DCS ISS Staff member to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through essential community and appointment-based services.

This role is critical to ensuring individuals safely attend medical, dental, therapy, and community appointments while maintaining compliance with HCS and DCS requirements.

🔹 Position Title
Appointment Runner / DCS ISS Staff
🔹 Employment Type
Full-Time / Part-Time
🔹 Location
Spring, Conroe / Montgomery County & surrounding areas

💼 Key Responsibilities
Transport individuals to and from:
Medical, dental, therapy, and behavioral health appointments
Community outings and approved activities
Provide Individualized Skills and Socialization (ISS) support per service plans
Ensure safety during transportation and appointments
Accurately document:
Appointment details
ISS service delivery notes
Mileage and transportation logs
Communicate effectively with:
Program Director
Nursing staff
Families and providers
Follow all HCS, DCS, and Team Abilities policies and procedures

✅ Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (required)
Valid Texas driver’s license & clean driving record
Reliable transportation & auto insurance
Ability to pass background check
Strong communication and organizational skills
Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor
Experience in HCS, DCS, or caregiving preferred but not required
CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
