The Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) will hold a public hearing on new proposed h**p rules on January 9th, 2026. These rules will affect every h**p business in Texas:

DSHS is accepting written and oral public comments (both in-person and virtual).

THBC will be submitting formal comments on behalf of the industry. However, individual stakeholder comments are strongly encouraged and play an important role in shaping final outcomes.

Deschedule NOT Reschedule!! We have been saying this all along. Can you see it?

🧐 They take control of H**p THC products by banning them next year federally, reschedule cannabis to where pharma has complete control. Then make it synthetic because pharma doesn’t make clean products. Then we would have a long list of side effects etc caused by pharma.

(Texas pushed everyone to TCUP but not everyone supports this as if you followed how this came about and who profits you wouldn’t either and the control behind having one)

We support the card to protect employees who are subject to drug screening that need access to our products but you aren’t required to buy from those busineses.

Understand what cannabis is: h**p and ma*****na.

Keep it in our stores. Lab tested, organic, no synthetics. 21 and up, no med card required.
