One week after rhinoplasty to narrow the nasal bones, and tip and reduce the dorsal hump.

There is still some swelling and light bruising.

It will improve over the next few weeks.

She is off to have lunch with her family and is very excited to show them the changes.

Only one week after a rhinoplasty to narrow the nasal bones, tip and nostrils.

It will take months for the final result but already the nose is improved and in balance with the face.

She and her daughter are very happy.

Note there are no black eyes because I place a pressure dressing over the eyes to help prevent bruising.

For years after performing a rhinoplasty and wrapping the eyes with a gentle pressure dressing. I write these initials with as a registered trademark over the left ear of the dressing. Just something fun to do.

He has had migraines for decades and came to see me years ago about my procedure. Because he was out of town and his kids were young, it was hard to come to stay for a week in Houston for the recovery. So he took my book and surgery plan to another local ENT. Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) often leaves patients with chronic headaches and migraines. Patients are told they have to live with the pain as a result of the injury but that is not true.

An incident severe enough to cause internal and external injuries usually involves the nose getting injured too but it is overlooked.

These images are from a TBI patient involved in an accident 10 years ago who now has chronic migraines. The sinus scan shows the most common finding I see in migraine patients, a deviated nasal septum and bone spur.

My Smith Sinus Migraine Technique will normalize the nose and eliminate the migraines.
