We are incredibly grateful for the support we received in 2025 from our amazing community partners and for the Arkansas Community Assistance Grant award. This support has helped CACs move into the new year feeling valued and recognized for the essential role we play. As we look ahead, continued investment is critical to sustaining our network long-term and ensuring EVERY child and family has access to a CAC when it matters most, without exception.🩵

As 2026 begins, we want to share an important update with our community.

The Children’s Safety Center has experienced significant funding changes, including reductions to long-standing grants. In the final days of 2025, we were grateful to be awarded the Arkansas Community Assistance Grant, which helps support our advocates, therapists, and forensic interviewers.

This funding is temporary and does not fully close the gap — making community support more important than ever. We are thankful to the State of Arkansas and to Washington County for stepping up to support children, and to our donors who continue to make this work possible.

Because of you, children in Washington County continue to receive safety, healing, and hope. 💙

TWENTY YEARS!!🩵

Today we were lucky enough to host partners, supporters, and family to celebrate Casey’s 20th CSC anniversary. It was the perfect way to honor Casey’s time at the CSC, surrounded by so many people she has worked beside and impacted.

Casey now serves as our Director of Operations, but she has, as you can imagine, served the CSC in many other capacities over the years. Starting as an advocate, eventually leading our direct service team, creating and leading our prevention program, and any other number of ways she has directly led the growth and impact of the Children’s Safety Center.

It seems truly impossible to put into words the indelible mark Casey has left on the CSC, our team, our clients, our partners, our supporters, and on and on. It is not overstating to say thousands of people have benefitted from Casey’s passion, knowledge, and determination.

Sweet Moments💝🧁

We had the best time at our holiday party decorating cakes with the help of ! Lots of very sweet Christmas trees came to life, then we headed over to Mojitos for our secret Santa reveal.

We are so proud of what we have been able to accomplish together this year, and it’s a breath of fresh air to be able to laugh & enjoy each other’s company.🤍
