Our biggest family gathering of the year was a true success. We want to thank all of the employees that made it run smoothly and we want to thank all of the family members for being a part of our big ole family and making it special for your loved ones. These moments mean everything to them and to us. Being able to be a part of your families lives and getting to love them day in and day out is why we love doing what we do here at The Bungalow's so special gatherings and seeing you enjoy your loved ones makes it that much more special. We wanted to brag about how neat it is to have one and how neat it will be to use. We now have a life station in our Pearl Community. What a life station is, is a dedicated area with familiar, interactive setups that mimic everyday activites to spark memories, evoke a sense of purpose and provide cognitive and emotional stimulation for residents.

We want to thank everyone that made our veterans feel special on Tuesday. We had a special lunch for them in our parlor and they had some special gifts and visitors. We want to thank Harber High School for coloring those amazing color pages and dropping them off for us to share with them and hang in our community this week. We also wanted to thank the VFW for coming and sharing their veteran stories and taking the time to meet these residents and get to know their stories and who they are. Our VFW has been very involved in our community and several of them remembered the members of the VFW and were able to get to visit with them again as friends and that was really special. We wanted to make the day as wonderful as possible for them. These veterans are heros and gave their life to something that was bigger than themselves and that was a sacrifice for our freedom that we don't take into account often enough. Thank you to our veterans everywhere for such a sacrifce.
