Joseph Ivy, MD, of Northwest Arkansas specializes in treating cancers of the va**na, cervix, uterus, ovaries, v***a and Fallopian tubes. In addition to ovarian cancer screenings, we also offer preventative surgical treatment for women at high risk, including women with BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations as well as hormone receptor-positive breast cancer. We want your experience in our care to be as positive as possible. Dr. Joseph Ivy is a part of Highlands Oncology Group and therefore works closely with medical oncologists, radiologists, radiation oncologists, and social workers to develop and carry out a treatment plan that delivers the best possible outcome for you and your family. We pride our-self on being able to provide the most advanced medical care and technology available. As a patient of Dr. Ivy, you will have access to the most current medical and surgical therapies available in the US today. One clear example is the use of the da Vinci® Surgical System to perform gynecologic surgery. What once required large abdominal incisions and lengthy hospital stays can now be accomplished using minimally invasive techniques that only require overnight hospital stays. We are the only center to offer this service in Northwest Arkansas, and also serve many patients from Northeastern Oklahoma, Southwestern Missouri and Southeastern Kansas.

Excellent read. We've been successful with minimally invasive interval debulking when patients have clinically responded positively to neoadjuvant chemotherapy.
