White Mountain Regional Medical Center extends its heartfelt condolences to Timber Mesa Fire and Medical District, the families and friends of Brenna Kulikowski and Damon Thompson, and the broader first responder community. Both individuals had meaningful ties to Round Valley, and their loss is deeply felt within our own organization.
We mourn alongside you and honor their legacy of service, courage, and sacrifice. Their commitment to protecting and uplifting our community exemplifies the highest ideals of public service. We remain profoundly grateful for all first responders who face danger daily in pursuit of a healthier, safer future for us all.

Timber Mesa Fire and Medical District is saddened to announce the line of duty deaths of two of our firefighters on September 14, 2025. The firefighters were involved in a traffic collision on State Route 260. The collision is under investigation by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.

Out of respect for the families, the names of our firefighters will be released once notifications have been made and as time permits. We ask that the media and the public respect the family’s privacy of the fallen firefighters and to refrain from sharing unverified information. Please rely on official statements from Timber Mesa Fire and Medical District or other vetted sources.

Our entire organization is grieving the loss of our team members. We ask for privacy and compassion as we support the families, co-workers, and community during this very difficult time.

We want to introduce you to the newest member of our team, Jasmine Summers, a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), and the compassionate philosophy that guides her work.

Jasmine didn’t stumble into mental healthcare by chance. Her journey began with a simple, powerful desire to help people. As an RN, she found herself consistently drawn to mental health, where she felt she could make the most significant impact. By addressing the psychological components, she could help heal the body. It was this deep-seated belief that inspired her to take on a new challenge: becoming a provider.

When asked about her philosophy of care, she said that her philosophy of care is to ensure that her patients know that their story and experiences matter. She understands that seeking help can be intimidating, and her goal is to create a safe space where patients feel heard and valued. For her, every person's life is a story worth listening to, a belief she holds dear after her time working in the ER and being a military spouse for 22 years.

Jasmine is a graduate of the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program at Purdue University Global. For Jasmine, becoming a provider was about answering a calling to make a difference. She was initially intimidated by the daunting task, but she was driven by her desire to create healing spaces for others and knew she had to step forward. Along with 22 years in the military community and her daily yoga practice, Jasmine brings over a decade of nursing experience in a variety of settings, from the ICU to the emergency department, into her role as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Her extensive background gives her a unique, well-rounded perspective that allows her to provide truly integrated care.

As a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Jasmine Summers offers a full spectrum of mental health services from providing accurate diagnoses and managing medication to treating psychotic disorders, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, personality disorders, and substance use disorders. To schedule an appointment with Jasmine, call our Clinic at 928-333-7333

We are excited to have her join us in our mission to empower a healthier community!
