As we’ve seen today, January 6, 2021 is proving to be very tense. I decided to pull three cards to see what the universe had to say about all these vibes. Our first card is The Hanged Man reversed. This card denotes delays, resistance and indecision. Our second card is The Tower. The Tower is a message of revelation, chaos and upheaval. Our final card is The Chariot reversed. The chariot reversed shows opposition and a lack of direction. BIG SIGH. So what does this mean for you? Take time to protect yourself today. Surround yourself with light and do what you can to block this negative garbage. This negative energy has no organization and no true power over you. Things are scary but you are safe. One thing I’ve learned about politics, the media and social media is that the headlines are enough sometimes. Release any guilt you may be carrying for not knowing every detail right away. There is a strong chance that the information will change and evolve as the stories develop. But make no mistake, f**k all this. F**k this election war, f**k the police, f**k 2020, f**k Trump for what he has done to our country and especially, f**k those who follow his cult. It’s okay to be angry. I’m very angry. I am doing my best to take my own advice and protect myself, I know this advice may be impossible to take. If you are in DC please stay safe. I love you and it will be okay. Remind yourself that this is temporary. Things will get better. We do not have to forgive or forget but we do have to stay strong. Look out for each other and look out for yourself. We are on the right side of history and this side is always harder. Insecurity is a foundation for hatred and these folks are very insecure right now. As the cards say, this will not last. This movement disorganized, weak and embarrassing. I’m including a photo of my cat encountering catnap for the first time as a reminder that there are good, special, cute little things that can bring us joy. Happy Monday the 14th my friends! Today’s card is the Ace of Pentacles reversed. Okay, take a big breath because this card is a lot like our previous chat. Right now we need to be very focused on actual information rather than potential. Are you up for a promotion that comes with a raise? Don’t you dare spend money like you’ve already got it. Today is a good day to be frugal and careful with your expenditures. This card can also point to a delay in your manifestations. It might not be a bad idea to reassess or revise your goals into more bite sized portions. Dream big always and manifest big always but there is no harm in giving the universe a smaller goal. Do that today. Try to avoid any significant financial risk. If you are looking to make a big purchase, accept a job offer, or start a business; do your research! Be pragmatic and thoughtful about your choices. I am a notorious emotional spender so...whew, I’m going to have to take my own advice today.
