Cancer Prevention Month is recognized in February. We should be mindful of the controllable risk factors and early symptoms.

Controllable risk factors for cancer:
*smoking
*unhealthy eating,
*physical inactivity
*excessive sun exposure

It is important to recognize these risk factors and be aware of potential early symptoms:
*unexplained weight loss
*pain
*fatigue
*fever
*skin changes

These symptoms do not necessarily mean you have cancer, but it is important to have regular cancer screenings. Schedule an appointment with one of our providers to discuss your risks and preventions you can take.
