📣 ACTION Day — March 1, 2026 | 3:00 PM
We’re gathering at Chicago State University to raise our voices and stand up for policies that protect Community Health Centers and the patients they serve.
Advocates from across the state are joining together to make an impact, share their stories, and push for meaningful change on issues that matter most in healthcare.

💙 Join the movement and let your voice be heard.

🧠 Mental health can’t wait — especially for kids and teens.
• 1 in 5 children experiences a mental health condition each year
• Nearly 50% of mental health disorders begin before age 14
• Su***de remains a leading cause of death among teenagers
• Many youth still face barriers to timely care and support
Connecting Kids to Coverage believes access to mental health care for children and families can’t be delayed. Awareness, early intervention, and community support matter — now more than ever.💙

Cervical cancer is largely preventable — yet in the U.S. in 2026:
-13,490 new cases are expected to be diagnosed. “American Cancer Society”
-4,200 deaths are projected from cervical cancer this year alone. “AACR”
Nearly all cervical cancers are caused by human papilloma virus (HPV), and vaccines + regular screening can stop it before it starts.
Detect early. Treat early. Save lives.

Community Health Centers rely on the 340B program to stretch scarce resources, expand services, and ensure patients can access affordable medications.
H.R. 7391 helps protect health centers from harmful 340B rebate proposals that could reduce access to care for the communities who need it most.
Thank you for meeting with us today. We appreciate your leadership and respectfully ask you to co-sponsor H.R. 7391.

🎗️ Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the U.S. — and nearly 4 in 10 adults have obesity, a major cancer risk factor.
While not all cancers are preventable, healthy habits matter. Diets low in saturated fat, added sugar, salt, alcohol, and processed meats — and rich in fruits and vegetables like broccoli, carrots, and berries — can help lower cancer risk.
Regular physical activity also plays a role in reducing cancer-related risk factors like high blood pressure and blood sugar.
🏥 Community Health Centers (CHCs) help patients take these preventive steps every day through nutrition education, wellness programs, and access to care.
