🌍 Global Health Protection in Action
The CDC’s Division of Global Health Protection works with countries worldwide to detect and stop the spread of dangerous diseases.
Building on lessons from COVID-19, new emergency preparedness centers have been established in Kenya to respond to outbreaks faster and more effectively. These centers help teams identify and contain threats early — a major improvement from when physicians had to track outbreaks on their own.
