For the first time, Rod Buffington, a local artist, will give a presentation at our quilt show on Friday, March 20! Mr Buffington is known for quilting-inspired watercolor paintings depicting major league baseball stadiums. Fascinating. Come see!

Orr Building, gate 9, Illinois State Fairgrounds, Springfield, Illinois
Friday, March 20, 10am-5pm and Saturday, March 21, 10 am-4pm

Door prizes, demonstrations, Quilts of Valor presentations, on-site food vendor and free parking. $10 admission; children 16 and under are free with your paid admission

Both Kelli (fundraiser) and Jill are current guild members. Kelli is raising funds to help with travel costs. Jill’s brain surgery to remove a benign tumor is, I think, in New York, and she’ll have to stay there with supportive friends for 5 days after surgery for a check-up.
