Hi community! 🤍

We are currently at full capacity.

This season has been such a beautiful reflection of the trust you continue to place in our care, and we feel incredibly honored to walk alongside so many families during such meaningful moments.

To ensure we can continue providing the deeply personalized, attentive care our patients deserve, we are not accepting new patients at this time. We will continue to maintain a waitlist, with priority given to established clients and referred patients as space becomes available.

Thank you for trusting us, supporting us, and allowing us to do this work—it truly means so much to our entire team 💛

What are maternity bundles—and are they required? 🤍

At Oregon Birth & Wellness Center, we believe families should have both quality care and flexibility in how they receive it.

Our standard care includes everything needed for safe, supportive prenatal, birth, and postpartum care. In addition, we offer optional maternity bundles for families who would like enhanced services such as childbirth education, lactation support, prenatal chiropractic care, and other wellness offerings.

Maternity bundles are completely optional. They are not billed to insurance and are an additional out-of-pocket cost for those who choose to include them in their care.

We understand that every family has different needs and budgets. Some choose to add extra support, while others prefer to stay with standard care—and both choices are respected and supported.

Our goal is to provide transparent options so you can make the decision that feels right for your care, your experience, and your family. 🤍

What goes into birth center care? 🤍

At Oregon Birth & Wellness Center, our model is designed to support families with more time, more education, and more personalized care throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

Unlike nonprofit organizations, we do not receive grant funding. We are an independently owned and operated healthcare practice, and our care is supported by insurance and client payments so we can continue serving our community.

We also offer flexible options, including standard care and optional maternity bundles with added services like education, lactation support, and more—so families can choose what fits their needs best.

Our goal is simple: to provide thoughtful, high-quality care that supports healthy outcomes and a more connected birth experience for families in our community. 🤍

What Makes Birth Center Care Different?

Birth Center care is often described as more personalized, relationship-based, and supportive than traditional OB care — and it is.

But it’s also important to understand what Birth Center care is designed to do.

As an AABC-accredited Birth Center, Oregon Birth & Wellness provides care for healthy, low-risk pregnancies within established national clinical guidelines for safety.

This includes:
• Evidence-based screening criteria
• Ongoing risk assessment throughout pregnancy
• Clinical recommendations when conditions change
• Consultation or transfer to hospital-based care when medically appropriate

Birth Centers are not home settings — they are licensed healthcare facilities that combine individualized, low-intervention care with clear safety standards.

That means:
✔ Longer prenatal visits
✔ Continuity with known providers
✔ Personalized birth planning
✔ Support for physiologic birth

AND

✔ Established clinical protocols
✔ Emergency preparedness
✔ Consultation & transfer guidelines
✔ Ongoing quality review

Our goal is always to support safe, informed, patient-centered care — including when that means recommending additional evaluation or hospital-based support.

We are proud to offer AABC-accredited Birth Center care to Lane County families.

Mental Health in the Fourth Trimester Matters

The weeks after birth bring significant physical, emotional, and hormonal changes — and adjusting to life with a newborn can feel overwhelming, even when everything is going well.

Mood changes, anxiety, sleep disruption, feeding challenges, and recovery from birth all play a role in postpartum mental health.

That’s why ongoing postpartum support is so important.

Clinical postpartum visits allow your care team to:
• Check in on emotional wellbeing
• Screen for postpartum mood and anxiety concerns
• Offer feeding and recovery support
• Provide reassurance and education
• Connect you with additional resources when needed

At Oregon Birth & Wellness, mental health check-ins are integrated into our postpartum care — because emotional recovery is just as important as physical healing.

You deserve support during the fourth trimester.

We are currently accepting new prenatal patients.

Why Do Postpartum Visits Matter?

Pregnancy care doesn’t end when your baby is born — in many ways, recovery and adjustment are just beginning.

While typical insurance-based maternity care often includes only one postpartum visit around 6 weeks, the weeks immediately following birth are when families benefit most from clinical support.

Postpartum visits allow your care team to:

✔ Monitor physical healing after birth
✔ Provide feeding and lactation support
✔ Assess newborn transition
✔ Screen for postpartum mood and anxiety concerns
✔ Support nutrition and recovery
✔ Address sleep, pain, and emotional wellbeing
✔ Answer questions as they arise

Early, ongoing postpartum care can help identify concerns before they become complications — and provide reassurance during a time of major physical and emotional change.

At Oregon Birth & Wellness, we believe the fourth trimester deserves thoughtful, relationship-based care — not just a single check-in weeks after delivery.

We are currently accepting new prenatal patients.

Postpartum care isn’t one-size-fits-all — so why should your support be?

At Oregon Birth & Wellness, all patients receive comprehensive standard postpartum care as part of their maternity services — including a home visit at 24–48 hours after birth, a 60-minute postpartum visit, lactation guidance, and integrated mental health check-ins.

But some families want more support during the fourth trimester.

That’s why we offer optional Maternity Care & Support Bundles — allowing you to personalize your care experience based on your needs, goals, and recovery preferences.

Bundle options may include:
• Additional postpartum visits
• Extended lactation support
• Nutrition counseling
• Mental health check-ins
• In-home follow-up support
• Childbirth & newborn education

You can select the level of support that feels right for you — or opt out entirely and continue with our already enhanced standard care.

Because your recovery, your feeding journey, and your transition into parenthood deserve care that’s tailored to you.

Now accepting new prenatal patients.

One of the most common concerns we hear from pregnant patients right now is:

“Will my provider still be there when I give birth?”

At Oregon Birth & Wellness, our care model is built around continuity.

That means:
• You see the same small clinical team throughout pregnancy
• Your providers know your history and preferences
• The midwife who attends your birth is someone you’ve met

Consistent, relationship-based care isn’t just comforting — it’s associated with improved patient satisfaction and positive birth experiences.

We are currently accepting new prenatal patients.

Did you know most prenatal visits in a traditional office setting are scheduled for 10–15 minutes?

At Oregon Birth & Wellness, our prenatal visits are intentionally longer — allowing time for:

✔ Questions
✔ Education
✔ Emotional support
✔ Nutrition & wellness discussion
✔ Birth planning
✔ Shared decision-making

Pregnancy care should be more than a quick check-in.

We are proud to provide relationship-based, patient-centered prenatal care to Lane County families — and we are currently accepting new patients.
