Often the answer isn’t a dramatic life overhaul. It’s small shifts that restore momentum - physically, mentally, or emotionally.

Movement, action, and honesty are simple ways to start loosening stuck energy.

A short walk.
Resolving one small task.
Naming what’s actually bothering you.

These kinds of small adjustments can change how your whole system feels.

Frustration often shows up when something inside us senses a disconnect.

Sometimes it’s a mismatch between expectations and reality.
Sometimes it’s a signal that something feels blocked or constrained.
Sometimes it’s the quiet nudge of a boundary asking to be noticed.

Our nervous systems are very good at detecting these shifts - often before we have words for them.

Instead of treating frustration as something to eliminate, it can be helpful to treat it as information worth listening to.
Curiosity tends to move things forward faster than self-criticism ever does.

Frustration usually gets treated like a problem we should ignore or push through.

But in traditional Chinese medicine, frustration can actually be a useful signal. It often shows up when something in the body isn’t moving as smoothly as it should.

The Liver system plays a key role in keeping energy flowing. When that flow gets stuck, we may notice tension, headaches, irritability, or simply a feeling of being “off.”

In this week’s blog I talk about what stagnation means, why frustration appears, and how small shifts can help restore movement in the body.

Your body is not failing you.
It’s communicating with you.

Hormones aren’t here to sabotage your mood, your energy, or your life.
They’re messengers.
They carry information between your nervous system, immune system, and the rest of your body.

When we listen - without panic, without blame - we often find that our bodies are doing their best to adapt.

Not with extreme fixes.
Not with forcing or white-knuckling.
But with small, supportive changes that help your system feel safer and more supported.

If February helped you feel even a little more trust in your body, a little less fear around symptoms, or a little more compassion for yourself… that matters.

Your body is on your side. And listening is a skill you can learn.🤍✨

You don’t need a new routine.
You don’t need to overhaul your diet, start a workout plan, or “fix” anything.

A simple place to start is listening.

Try this once today:
pause for 30–60 seconds and ask yourself,
“What do I notice in my body right now?”

No judging. No problem-solving.
Just noticing.

Sensations, energy, tension, mood, warmth, heaviness - it’s all information.

This kind of listening (called interoception) helps your nervous system settle and gives your body space to adapt.

Small moments like this add up.
Your body really does know what it’s doing 🤍
