Thinking about starting therapy but unsure what the first session is really like?

At Joyful Living, the first therapy session is designed to be a supportive and informational starting point. It’s a time to get to know your clinician, talk about what brings you in, and ask questions about the therapy process. There’s no pressure to share more than you’re comfortable with, and sessions move at a pace that feels appropriate for you.

Therapy is not about being judged, told what to do, or having everything figured out right away. It’s about creating a respectful, collaborative space where you can explore your goals and next steps.
