We welcome participation on our social media pages and encourage friends and visitors to interact with us and comment about the content we share. And we expect friends and visitors will always do this in a respectful manner. North Star Health does not agree with or endorse every comment that people post on our page. North Star Health does not discriminate against any views, but we reserve the right to delete comments or posts, or block users whose comments or posts contain any of the following:

• Hate speech (speech that targets people or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or any other protected status)
• Profanity, obscenity, or nudity
• Defamation of any person or people including name-calling or personal attacks
• Threats or incitement to harm individuals, groups, or organizations
• Endorsement or encouragement of illegal activities
• Advertisements or solicitations for funds
• Spam, such as the same comment posted repeatedly
• Multiple off-topic posts

North Star Health administrators moderate all comments on our social media pages. Last year, North Star started a organizational-wide campaign seeking input from all staff to identify our 4 core values. One of those is community. It showed up in a BIG way yesterday.

THANK YOU to our community for showering our care providers with love (and 1500 carnations!) to celebrate National Doctors Day. We had a blast distributing these and seeing everyone's faces light up.

Also a big thank you to Woodbury Florist for partnering with us to make this wild idea a reality, to JC's Market & Deli for delivering a delicious breakfast for our entire staff, and to our staff and board volunteers who helped sort, wrap, and deliver these bouquets to all 63 recipients. This was a true community effort.

Our Springfield Health Center cafeteria has been taken over by 1500 red carnations!

On Monday, these blooms will be headed to all of our providers to celebrate Doctors Day!

This summer, we are partnering with Southern Vermont AHEC to hire a Communications Intern. The ideal candidate is a current college student who either attended high school in Vermont and/or attends a Vermont College/University. The internship is project based, and they will assist with preparing promotions and coordinating details around National Health Center Week events (August 2-8th).

The internship is PAID through AHEC and can be completed in a hybrid fashion, with in-office time required during health center week.

Join us on April 8 at 11am to cut the ribbon on our newly upgraded accessible exam room at its Charlestown Health Center (250 Ceda Road, Charlestown, NH)!

North Star Health is committed to expanding access to care for all patients through facility upgrades across our network. This is step one in a broader effort to improve accessibility at our locations, with guidance from advocates Dianne and Justin Milliken (pictured).

Special thanks to NH Healthy Families, The Dee Foundation, and Claremont Savings Bank Foundation for their support of these projects.

March 30 is National Doctors’ Day, when we recognize the dedicated providers who care for our North Star community. This year, you can join in by sending a carnation to a provider you wish to honor.
