We welcome participation on our social media pages and encourage friends and visitors to interact with us and comment about the content we share. And we expect friends and visitors will always do this in a respectful manner. North Star Health does not agree with or endorse every comment that people post on our page. North Star Health does not discriminate against any views, but we reserve the right to delete comments or posts, or block users whose comments or posts contain any of the following:

• Hate speech (speech that targets people or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, or any other protected status)
• Profanity, obscenity, or nudity
• Defamation of any person or people including name-calling or personal attacks
• Threats or incitement to harm individuals, groups, or organizations
• Endorsement or encouragement of illegal activities
• Advertisements or solicitations for funds
• Spam, such as the same comment posted repeatedly
• Multiple off-topic posts
• Personal information including email addresses, telephone numbers, mailing addresses, or identification numbers

North Star Health administrators moderate all comments on our social media pages. Please be aware, however, that we cannot immediately review every comment posted and expect our friends and visitors to ignore inappropriate comments or respond politely. North Star Health reserves the right to block from its social media pages any friend or visitor who repeatedly violates the North Star Health social media commenting policy.

Oh what fun it was to host business leaders from Springfield last Wednesday at the annual Holiday Springfield Regional Chamber of Commerce Member Mixer. We love having the opportunity to mix and mingle with everyone. Thank you to all who came out to celebrate with us!

If you’ve signed up for a Humana Medicare Advantage Plan, you might see that North Star Health providers aren't shown as in-network. We still accept Humana Medicare Advantage plans, but since we’re considered out of network, it is important to review your plan and policy specifics to know what out-of-pocket costs you may incur.

If this is a hardship for you, please contact Valley Health Connections to learn about your options which may include enrolling in a traditional Medicare plan or applying for our sliding scale financial assistance.
