The Strength in Neurodiversity Summer Festival & Pool Party was an absolute blast!

Thanks to all the people who came out in force to swim, play, have fun, be with friends, compete in a cannonball contest and eat yummy sno-cones on a warm summer night.

Special thanks to the City of Eugene Adaptive Recreation for their help in securing Amazon Pool for this wonderful pool party, and to all the other community partners who made the event top notch, including:

Today is the BIG day!

Join us tonight for the Strength in Neurodiversity Summer Festival & Pool Party, starting at 6:30 p.m. at Amazon Pool, located at 2600 Hilyard Street in Eugene.

There will be FREE fun activities, games, entertainment and snacks hosted by several community partners, including: Full Access, City of Eugene Adaptive Recreation, Premier Community Supports, LLC. Direction Service, Thrive Services, Pearl Buck Center, KindTree - Autism Rocks. Riverview Center for Growth, Upstream Access, Almost Family, LLC Cultural Services, City of Eugene, Circle of Friends The Arc Lane County, Families Connected: Family Network

Grab your swimsuit, towel and sunscreen and join the fun. And, if you don't swim, there is still plenty of fun stuff to do outside the pool.

City of Eugene Adaptive Recreation DanceAbility International

Get ready to CANNONBALL!

The Strength in Neurodiversity Summer Festival & Pool Party starts tomorrow at 6:30 p.m. at Amazon Pool, located at 2600 Hilyard St. in Eugene.

The City of Eugene Adaptive Recreation will host a Cannonball Challenge, so get your best cannonball jump ready.

DanceAbility International will also be joining the fun. Attendees will be treated to a DanceAbility performance every half hour.

Come join the FREE fun tomorrow and share your Disability Pride!!

Premier Community Supports, LLC., OHSU UCEDD Community Partners Council (CPC)

Join us at the Amazon Pool this Friday, July 25 for the Strength in Neurodiversity Summer Festival & Pool Party!

We'll be celebrating Disability Pride and all the wonderful strengths that people with disabilities add to our community with free games, food, entertainment, and swimming. The fun starts at 6:30 p.m. and wraps at 8:30 p.m.

Be sure to visit the Premier Community Supports table for some rock painting fun, and get your photo taken with the UCEDD Community Advocacy Council's "I'm an Advocate" photo frame.

Please note: The Ume Snack Shop will not be open, but there will be a food truck on site for people to purchase a meal.

Otherwise, there will be free popcorn, sno-cones and cotton candy inside Amazon Pool.

Direction Service Thrive Services

When you tire of swimming on Friday at the Strength in Neurodiversity Summer Festival & Pool Party this Friday, you can go gaga for Gaga ball!

Direction Service will have its inflatable Gaga ball court at the pool party so stop by and play! The folks from Direction Service will also have a bubble station for the littles.

And, Thrive Services is joining the party this year! They will have an inflatable ring toss game, a photo station for friends to stop by and get their photo taken and waterproof tattoos.

Come celebrate Disability Pride Month with friends and family at the Strength in Neurodiversity Summer Festival & Pool Party, Friday July 25, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Amazon Pool in Eugene. Admission is FREE!!

P.S. UME Snack Shop will be closed, but there will be a food truck on site for people to purchase Mexican food. Bring $$ if you want to buy dinner from the food truck. There will be free popcorn, sno-cones and cotton candy available inside Amazon Pool.

Pearl Buck Center, KindTree - Autism Rocks

5 days way from the Strength in Neurodiversity Summer Festival & Pool Party!

Get your tossing arm ready because Pearl Buck is hosting a fun corn hole game at the Festival

And, come see how many cups you can knock over at KindTree-Autism Rock's water squirter game.

Free games, entertainment, swimming and snacks galore this Friday evening! Come join the fun.

One thing to note: the UME snack grill will not be open as originally planned. There will be free snacks available at the festival, but some people may want to eat dinner before coming.
