Spring is here 🌸☀️ — and it’s the perfect time to slow down, get outside, and make simple memories together.

🌼 Go on a nature walk and look for signs of spring (flowers, birds, bugs!)
🧺 Pack a picnic and head to a local park
🌱 Plant flowers or a small garden together
🚲 Take a family bike ride or evening walk
🎨 Draw with sidewalk chalk or do a simple outdoor craft
🫧 Blow bubbles and let kids just run and play

These small moments build connection, confidence, and joy—and they’re often the ones kids remember most.

Spring is a reminder that growth takes time… for kids and for families 💙

April is Child Abuse Awareness Month 💙

Every child deserves safety, stability, and care—and every family deserves support along the way.

In the United States, over 532,000 children were confirmed victims of abuse and neglect in 2024, and nearly 1,800 children died due to abuse-related causes.

We also know:
• More than 4.4 million reports of suspected abuse are made each year
• The majority of cases involve neglect, which is often connected to stress, limited resources, and lack of support (Mandated Reporter Training)

Behind every number is a child—and a family—navigating challenges.

Child abuse prevention is not about blame. It’s about connection, support, and making sure families have what they need to thrive.

Small actions can make a big difference:
💙 Offer support to families in your community
💙 Share resources and encouragement
💙 Help create spaces where people feel safe asking for help

When we come together with compassion, we can build stronger families and safer communities for children.

As we close out the year, it’s a good time to pause, breathe, and recognize how far we’ve come. Grace reminds us that we don’t have to be perfect — just growing. Intention helps us step into the new year with clarity, purpose, and hope.

Whether you’re strengthening your parenting, healing relationships, or building a healthier path forward — every step matters.

Here’s to ending the year gently… and beginning the next with direction. 💛
