Menstrual cycle apps are super helpful, don’t get me wrong, but they truly only can tell us what day of cycle we are on; everything else is just an estimated guess.

So how can we tell when we are TRULY ovulating??

🫟change in cervical fluid - becomes egg white consistency
🌡️ slight change in body temperature - a small dip in temperature followed by a steady rise

☯️ Ovulation is the time in our cycle when yin transforms to yang. Yin (lower body temperatures) reaches its peak with ovulation and is beautifully transformed to yang (higher body temperatures).

🌍 Our body is constantly shifting and cycling; if you really want to know when your body ovulates (it’s not always exactly halfway!), track your body temperature for a few cycles to see your patterns!
