I grew up on a farm in northwest Ohio and now live in Springfield, where I enjoy reading, working in the garden and chasing my crazy kiddos down the bike path behind our house. I know from personal and professional experience that parenting can be hard for so many reasons. Infertility, a medically complicated pregnancy, postpartum anxiety or depression, adoption, infant loss or birth trauma can all make what should be a joyful time a very difficult one instead. They have wonderful resource guides that present research around many issues that can cause anxiety during pregnancy - from having a "big baby" to "advanced maternal age." This is a fantastic resource from my new favorite - Postpartum Support International They have a weekly "Chat with an Expert" where you can join a call to have questions answered about any difficulties you may be having pre or post baby. If you're not sure if what you're feeling is normal, hop on one of these calls to listen/learn!

Connect with other moms and dads and talk with a PSI expert about resources, symptoms and general information about perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
