Why should you schedule counseling with an intern?
Some are hesitant to receive counseling from an intern. Don’t be afraid, here are some reasons why you should see an intern:

1. Their education and training is recent and fresh in their minds.
2. You get two counselors! Your counselor, and their supervisor.
3. The courses they have been taking have the recent updates in the counseling field, with new interventions.
4. Interns are usually at the end of their 2-3 year program. That’s a long time to be specialized in counseling!

If you still are unsure about seeing an intern, don’t worry. We will be posting our new interns here so you can get to know them more.
