Fun fact: Across the HSHS hospitals in Illinois and Wisconsin, July was the most common birth month, followed closely by September!

Amber did our pictures this past spring for our baby girl! She’s great to work with and her pictures are beautiful! I’m seeing a big increase in people expecting for 2026 so I’m sure she is too! 💕

With the heat moving in next week, a salt cave session would be the perfect way to cool down, meditate, and reset! This was one of my favorite forms of relaxation and meditation during my pregnancy with our rainbow baby when things were very stressful!

I’m Jenni — doula, educator, advocate for empowered births and ALWAYS in my car taking someone somewhere or going to the store for more snacks… and as of April, a mama of FOUR 💛

This year has been incredibly special. We welcomed our daughter this spring, completing our family in the most beautiful (and humbling) way. She’s reminded me, once again, just how sacred, raw, and powerful the journey into motherhood really is. Her birth was an extremely liberating, healing, and empowering way for me to transition from the chapter of my life of having babies, to raising them.

Golden Hour Doula Services was born from a deep desire to support mothers seeking an authentic and empowering birth experience- whether you’re preparing for your first birth or your fifth, navigating fertility questions, or just need someone in your corner.

I offer both in-person and virtual support that’s grounded in connection, and real-life experience. From birth plans and natural comfort techniques to emotional check-ins and postpartum care — it’s all about you and your needs. My goal is always to help facilitate the birth you envision for yourself!

Motherhood is a constant teacher. Becoming a mom of four deepened my understanding of birth in ways that I never imagined could. It’s one thing to support others — it’s another to have the honor of being invited into the scared space of bringing a new life into the world.

My own experience fuels my passion for helping families prepare emotionally and physically for birth, especially partners who want to show up confidently but don’t know how.
