🌸La Nochebuena y la Navidad forman parte de las tradiciones que fortalecen la convivencia y la identidad cultural en México.
El 24 de diciembre se comparte la cena y el encuentro familiar, mientras que el 25 se celebra la unión, la memoria y la esperanza.

Estas prácticas son patrimonio cultural vivo, transmitido de generación en generación y fundamental para la vida comunitaria.

La palabra Navidad viene de la palabra en latín nativitas que significa “nacimiento”.

🚨Important: High winds are being predicted for the Springfield area on Wednesday, December 24th, 2025.

💨 Oregon Emergency Management is warning of potential wind gusts of 45-58 mph for the I-5 corridor with a potential for up to six hours of peak gusts, though the exact timing of the event remains uncertain.

🔌 Prepare for possible power outages by gathering supplies beforehand in an easily accessible area.

HELLO EVERYONE, WE ARE A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION IN SPRINGFIELD OREGON, NAMED ESCUDO LATINO. OUR HOPE AND DESIRE IS TO HELP OUR LATINX COMMUNITY WITH INFORMATION IN SPANISH AND PROVIDED INFORMATION ON RESCOURCES IN OUR COMMUNITY. WE ARE TRYING OUR BEST TO ADVOCATE FOR OUR PEOPLE IN OUR HOME TOWN. WE HAVE SEE A LARGER NEEDED OF VOCAL AND MEDIA INFORMATION IN SPANISH, TO BE AWARE AND FAMILIARIZED WITH WHAT OCCURS IN OUR SURROUNDINGS. ESCUDO LATINO TRYING IT BEST TO BE A SAFE PLACE FOR OUR COMMUNITY TO REACH OUT AND GET ANY HEL OR INFORMATION. WITH IN THIS PASS MONTHS WE HAVE BEEN WORKING SLOWLY TO GET MORE FAMILIAR WITH OUR COMMUNITY NEEDS AND START DIFFERENT PROJECTS TO GET HELP NEEDED TO THOSE WHO NEED IT THE MOST IN HARD TIMES , LIKE AS WE HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS PAST MONTHS. I URGED YOU TO SHARE WITH FAMILIES AND FRIENDS ANY INFORMATION POSTED HERE IN OUR PAGE. I THANK YOU ALL FOR THE GREAT SUPPORT WE ARE GETTING FROM EVERYONE FEEDBACKS AND WE HOPE TO DO MORE FOR YOU ALL.
