🩺 Full-Time CNA
• Preferred coverage areas: Decatur, Taylorville, or Sullivan (but not required!)

💬 Part-Time LCSW
• Flexible schedule, 10+ hours per week

Our patients are a gift to us, and we love celebrating with them and their families, sharing in the joy and gratitude of life's milestones.

And the wise men brought gifts:
Gold - The only gift fitting a king.
Frankincense - An aroma considered pleasing to God.
Myrrh - A burial ointment reflective of the death for our salvation.

And the shepherds brought only their praise and hallelujahs which is all God wants from us today.

And God gifted us with His Son...a sign of hope, peace, salvation, and love. In His life, death and resurrection Jesus paved a direct path to the Father!

Each year, the holiday season can bring both immense joy and deep sorrow. As we draw closer to Christmas day, we cherish our fondest memories of holiday traditions and Christmases past. We also acknowledge the inability to return to those days with the loss of loved ones and know the holidays are difficult on grieving hearts. As you remember your loved ones, make space for tears as well as joy. Whether this is the first year or fiftieth year, our thoughts and prayers are with you. May you receive comfort knowing that your loved one will be spending Christmas in celebration with Jesus on His birthday! ✨️

Our hearts our full in this season of gratitude. 🧡 This week we were able to bless seniors throughout the Springfield community with Thanksgiving Food baskets. But WE were the ones truly blessed by spending time connecting, learning stories and offering companionship at a time when people often feel alone. Thank you to Jennifer at Springfield Supportive Living for leading this community effort! The Hands of God Hospice team is grateful be part of this mission to give back, give kindness, give compassion and give grace!

WHAT AN HONOR!! Last night we celebrated being recognized as one of the 2025 Top 15 Under Fifteen Award recipients which highlights excellence in local small businesses!! We are filled with gratitude for the compassionate hospice care that we are able to offer patients & their families at the end of their physical journey. We are thankful for the relationships that we have and continue to build with community partners that share the same values. We are so very blessed that we are a TEAM called to do God's work every single day and give Him the glory for recognitions like this and bringing us patients & families to care for and love! Thank you to United Community Bank and the Springfield Business Journal Illinois for shining a light on small businesses and how we make a lasting impact for others, one dedicated person at a time!

As we head towards the final voting days for the Illinois Times 2025 Best of Springfield Reader's Choice awards, we want to express our gratitude for this recognition. What this really means to us is that we have made an impact on lives by offering exceptional patient-centered, God-focused hospice care. It means that when people are most vulnerable, we have been able to bring comfort and support. It means when family & friends are sad and felt weak, we have been there to listen and love. It means that when faced with hard choices, we could offer guidance. And we know that all of this is possible because God chose a path for us to follow and we do this work entirely through Him.
