That little second of chaos isn't worth your life, that one second of numbing your feelings isn't worth it because when your high is gone, u still will feel again...
🌿 Ways to Choose Peace Instead of Using:
1. Step outside and breathe for 60 seconds
Fresh air can calm your mind faster than you think.
2. Call or text one supportive person
You don’t have to talk long — just connect.
3. Make a cup of coffee or tea
A small grounding routine helps your mind reset.
4. Take a walk or sit in nature
Trees, sky, birds, quiet — nature reduces cravings and stress.
5. Put on calming or gospel music
Let something uplifting shift your whole energy.
6. Journal the feeling for 2 minutes
Write what’s stressing you. Naming it reduces its power.
7. Pray or meditate
Even a short moment of stillness can bring clarity.
8. Take a hot shower
The heat relaxes your body and calms your mind.
9. Distract yourself with a positive task
Clean a corner, fold clothes, organize something small.
10. Remind yourself why you started healing
Think about the peace, the freedom, the new life you’re building.
11. Stay around safe people & safe spaces
Environment matters. Chaos triggers… peace protects.
12. Replace the urge with movement
Stretch, dance, step in place — your body needs an outlet.
