Heritage Woods of Plainfield held a celebration this week to recognize their achievement of earning the Silver Quality Award by the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living.🥈🌟
The award recognizes facilities that meet certain standards of performance to improve the lives of both staff and residents in the long-term care industry.
Many community members and leaders joined to help celebrate and honor Heritage Woods of Plainfield for this amazing accomplishment!

The Alden Heather Manor facility in Harvey had State Senator Napoleon Harris come for a visit, where he connected with residents and staff, discussing his support for the long-term care industry. He also called Bingo for those in the activity area, which the residents always love!

Allure of Geneseo welcomed Congressman Darin LaHood for a visit recently! He had a productive tour that focused on the importance of quality long-term care, where he got the opportunity to connect with staff and share his support for those serving Illinois' seniors.

Kimberly plays a key role in helping providers navigate complex policy and regulatory issues, while working to identify practical solutions that strengthen long-term care across Illinois. With a strong background in social work and public policy, she brings valuable insight to this leadership position.

Jacksonville Skilled Nursing and Rehab hosted a safe trick-or-treating event for children last night for Halloween!
They had nearly 350 kids come through the facility dressed in their costumes, as residents handed out candy and visited with families and children in their community. 🎃👻🍬

Art was honored for his exceptional dedication, compassion, and unwavering commitment to the residents and staff he serves. With his kindness, optimism, and can-do attitude, Art truly embodies the Bickford mission to do whatever it takes to enrich happiness and represent the very best of Illinois' long-term care community.
In attendance were Art's colleagues, residents, and distinguished guests, State Senator Emil Jones III and Tinley Park Mayor Michael Goltz.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is a time to educate others and honor and support those affected by breast cancer. Last week, staff and residents at ALIYA of Glenwood came together to show their support for breast cancer, inviting all to wear pink, play pink bingo, and participate in their "Think Pink" walk!

During our reception in Las Vegas, we had the privilege of celebrating Ron Nunziato, Senior Director of Policy and Regulatory Affairs, as he prepares for retirement after more than three decades of dedication to long-term care.

Ron’s wealth of knowledge, respected leadership, and passionate advocacy have played a pivotal role in advancing HCCI’s mission and supporting providers across Illinois. His impact on our organization and the long-term care industry will continue to be felt for years to come.
