During recovery from my spinal surgeries, I needed something creative to focus on. What started as experimenting with fragrance and ingredients at home has slowly turned into something really fun.
Lately I’ve been making custom body products for clients who requested specific scents, and I’ve loved being able to create something just for them.

Everything is made by me with simple ingredients you can actually pronounce, skin-loving oils, and fragrances inspired by some of our favorite scents.

Recently created:

🌟 A tropical caramel pistachio body butter inspired by a very famous Brazilian cream
Brazilian Glow Cream (bum bum)

🌟A bold masculine body butter inspired by a luxury cologne favorite
Creed Glow (masculine) (Adventus)

🌟A soft floral perfume-style body butter
Graceful Glow (dupe of Sweet Grace)

🌟 Pre shave/beard oil made from rich oils that are incredibly beneficial for skin
Blue Reserve (dupe of Bleu de Chanel)

🌟Room and linen spray

🌟Candles

The body butter leaves your skin moisture sized and smelling amazing. I have tried a variety of formulas and this is by far my favorite!

🌟 A “better-for-you” laundry powder scented with a warm, clean fragrance everyone loves. Two different client requests
Self Absorbed (narcissist) and Graceful Glow (dupe of Sweet Grace). The fragrance lasts so long and leaves your clothes smelling amazing. Can be made in powder or liquid form.

This whole fragrance experiment started while I was healing… and somehow it has turned into an obsession with creating beautiful scents and products from scratch.

I don't want to get sued so I have changed the fragrance names.

I will admit I am awful about before and after photos. I need to start building my portfolio 🥴. I just get so involved in what I am doing and my relationships with my clients.

Funny story I absolutely hated body waxing while I was in school. Especially eyebrows. I avoided waxing eyebrows every chance I could.

That has changed 100%. Give me all the waxing!

I love a good crisp clean eyebrow.

I'm curious what is something that you hang onto that you can't get rid of - I have three things. Two in my closet and one random thing.

I am thinking of starting a private group here and possibly a few other places. Here's the deal my dream is like every other girl I know: to own a boutique. I know, I know. I also know the struggle of inventory and trying to guess what will sell and what won't. I also know that boutique prices can be insane. This is absolutely NOT to speak negatively about boutiques or owners. So, here is the compromise. I was thinking of starting a group with preorders (pre-orders to start with) and because I will get it wholesale - YOU (if you choose to be in the group) would get the benefit of significantly reduced prices. SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCED PRICES. It's a win/win. I will create a second venmo or can invoice through the studio so everyone is covered (payment protection etc). It would be everything from accessories to clothes to holiday and kids clothes (especially boys because I have found the best stuff). If I get enough interest I will start a group. Let me know your thoughts and what you would love to see offered. If there is interest in a group I will do a few posts to gauge interest in style. I mean y'all know my style isn't for everyone and I am all over the place. I truly just want to bridge the gap in the world of boutiques. Yes, I can ship too if needed. We can do pick ups a variety of ways to make it easy too.

Hey, hi, hello!

Class is officially in session. I am going to share information with the idea that whoever is reading this has little to no knowledge of the skin barrier (and its purpose) and how to properly
care for your skin.

Let’s Start with the Basics and the “Why”
Before diving into fancy serums and trendy ingredients, we have to start with the foundation — the steps that actually keep your skin healthy. Because if you don’t understand why each one matters, you’re just throwing money (and effort) at the mirror.

Here’s the routine that sets the tone for everything else:
1. Double Cleanse
The first cleanse removes makeup, SPF, and surface oil. The second cleanse actually gets to your skin — clearing dirt and buildup. Think of it as taking off your shoes before mopping the floor. I prefer (and most skin types need to start with an oil based cleanser)

2. Toner
This step balances your skin’s pH after cleansing and preps it to absorb everything else better. A good toner adds hydration, not sting. This is not the toner of the 80's (Seabreeze) that strips your skin. Toners and skin flooding will have their own post soon!

3. Serum
This is your concentrated treatment — packed with active ingredients that target your goals (hydration, brightness, fine lines, etc.). It’s like your skin’s daily vitamin shot.

4. Moisturizer
Seals in hydration and helps strengthen your skin barrier (we’ll get to that part). Even oily skin needs this step.

5. SPF
The non-negotiable. UV damage causes premature aging, dark spots, and barrier breakdown — basically, everything we’re trying to avoid. SPF is your invisible shield.

What’s a Skin Barrier, and Why Should You Care?
Your skin barrier is the outermost layer of your skin — a mix of lipids (fats), ceramides, and natural moisture that keeps the good stuff in (hydration) and the bad stuff out (pollution, bacteria, irritants).

When it’s healthy, your skin feels smooth, calm, and hydrated. When it’s damaged? You’ll notice dryness, redness, flakiness, and that “tight” feeling after washing.

Common ways people damage their barrier:
• Over-exfoliating (using scrubs, actives, and/or acids too often)
• Harsh cleansers or too-hot water
• Skipping moisturizer or SPF
• Mixing ingredients that fight each other
To repair and protect it:
• Stick to gentle cleansers
• Use ceramide-rich moisturizers
• Don’t skip SPF
• Use a clean towel and clean washcloth each time your wash your face!
• Change your pillow case EVERY single night. I know, I know but trust me when I say . . . it makes a difference. This will also have its own post.
• Simplify your routine for a few weeks if your skin feels irritated

A healthy barrier = glowing, balanced, resilient skin. Everything else works better when this foundation is strong.

Bottom line though is . . . YOU HAVE TO BE CONSISTENT!!!
