In anticipation of the likely halt of SNAP benefits in November, OACAC Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation is hosting a meeting on Oct. 29 to brainstorm a coordinated, community-wide response. Service providers, community partners and civic leaders are encouraged to attend.

Harvest On Wheels will be at the farm stand at Urban Roots this Sunday October 26th, event begins at 5:00 pm and goes to 7:00 pm. This will be our last produce giveaway event of the season. If you have been to any of our events please come to this one, we are offering a community survey and would love your feedback. Please bring your own bags and come get some farm fresh veggies and other goodies at 823 West State Street. We will have the Harvest on Wheels event signs set up by the community fridge. Please do not block driveway or park in the residents parking area. Check facebook for updates in the event of severe weather for event announcements. Thank you to Greater Springfield Farmers' Market , Farmers Market of the Ozarks , Marshfield Farmers' Market , and Willard Farmers market for all of your donations this year.

The Mutual Aid Fair is this Sunday from 2-6 at 2434 E Battlefield!

Get stuff mended, learn a skill for subsistence or pleasure, meet some comrades, grab some harm reduction supplies, and share food or goods.

Everything is always free, and we can’t wait to see you.
