https://www.ethicon.com/na/epc/code/1791g. There is a blue 6.0 chromic that comes double armed on a fairly small needle you just cut this in half and then you have two because the needle is fairly easy to bend , but this is a wonderful suture for nail beds.

Animal Bites – Don’t Ignore Them!
Bites can cause serious pain and dangerous infections. Bacteria from the animal’s mouth can contaminate the wound, leading to anything from mild discomfort to life-threatening complications. Risk factors include wound location, delay in care, immune conditions (diabetes, HIV), foreign material, and the biting animal. Early recognition and treatment are key to preventing problems.

Hand Infections –
Hand infections can quickly lead to stiffness, loss of strength, and even tissue loss. Early treatment is key—some cases respond to antibiotics and rest, but many require urgent surgery and drainage. Always test drainage to target the right bacteria.

Today if he were the US perhaps he’d be fighting for funding and be challenged by those who didn’t believe in his science.
